I love my friends. I honestly do. They put up with the most silly anxiety attacks that I have and always know how to fix them. Like today, I texted one of my girl friends freaking out because the reality of me buying a crystal and pearl embedded tiara to wear for only one day set in and I couldn't believe how much money that I spent on it, and instead of telling me that I was stupid (for both buying a very expensive tiara and then freaking out about it after) she just told me that we're going to have to dress up like princesses much more often to drink so I have an excuse to wear it more often. Well...she'll drink. I'll just be happy having an excuse to wear the tiara.
Weddings. Ugh. 34 days to go...
Everyone says that getting married, it's all about you, it's your day.. But what you don't learn until you're getting married, is that basically a wedding is all about trying to make it as comfortable and as fun for everyone else. As convenient for everyone else. You feel bullied and guilted into things. It's so frustrating to not be able to do some things so not to upset people. To have to invite people so not to Upset people. It's just ridiculous. I tell Myself repeatedly that I need to just focus on us, and the main part of the day is that bit at the alter and the rings and just me and Steve..but everything else around it is one big headfuck. #endrant
