Create these cute and elegant bride and groom wedding cake pops to add a touch of sweetness to your special day. These bite-sized treats are perfect for weddings and bridal showers.
Ingredients: 2 cups cake crumbs from your favorite cake. 1 cup frosting vanilla or chocolate. White candy melts. Black candy melts. Edible gold or silver dust. Lollipop sticks. Small edible pearls.
Instructions: You can use your hands or a food processor to break up the cake into small pieces. When you add the frosting to the cake crumbs, mix them together until they stick together. Put the cake mix on a baking sheet and roll it into little balls. In 30-second bursts, stir the white candy melts while melting them in the microwave until they are smooth and liquid. Put the melted white candy on the end of a lollipop stick and stick it into a cake ball. This helps keep the stick in place. Cover the whole cake pop in the melted white candy by dipping it in it. Let the extra water run off. To let the cake pops set, put them in a Styrofoam block. To make tuxedo shapes on half of the cake pops, melt the black candy melts and use them. You can make lapels and bow ties. Melt white candy melts and use them to decorate the other half of the cake pops like a wedding dress. Small edible pearls should be added to the bridal gown cake pops while the candy coating is still wet. For an extra touch of class, sprinkle edible gold or silver dust on top of the tuxedo cake pops. Give the cake pops time to set and get hard. Now you can enjoy your cute bride and groom wedding cake pops!
