A few days ago, I asked my life aficionado, my solid rock, my fellow Netflix adventurer, my trusty side-kick, and my best friend to marry me. She said yes, with tears in her eyes, and I cried happy tears for a solid five minutes after that. I don’t think I’ve ever cried happy tears. It’s oddly lovely. • I might’ve gone overboard with the proposal. I had her visit five locations in Dayton that have meant something to us significantly on a wild scavenger hunt to find me. At each location one of her friends gave her a letter written by me to show my appreciation of her. At the last location, she was met by me. Though I didn’t have a letter, I had a song that I wrote for her. Then I said a few words, broke out the ring, and, well, the rest is history. • I want to thank @mrssupersoaker @iambryanblack @rebecca.kochanek @joanna_dhollowoak @kocheck89 @jtbearclaw and Rebecca Kolssak for making it all possible and for helping me pull this off. I couldn’t have done it without any of you ❤️ And of course, to @justjadeiris, I love you with all of my heart, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you ❤️💛💙 • 📷: Jt Faircloth on his freaking Polaroid.
