Adult Male Wedgetail Eagle
He's a rescue bird at Eagles Heritage Raptor Refuge. When he was brought in, he was almost blind. He's recovered some of his sight, but not enough to be able to hunt. After several tries, the staff have found a young female who doesn't beat him up and they're hoping that there'll be some offspring.

This is one of two rescued Wedgetails. They were rescued as juveniles from the Eyre Highway. One can't fly and the other is blind in one eye. Their names are Bruce and Samantha.
