how is it in character for Allura's vlog to not be emotional but acceptable for Keith's to be emotional? if anything Keith bottles stuff up the most so why is he allowed a vulnerable moment in a vlog but Allura's vlog barely tells us anything more about her
Keith is unstable. Period. Canonically, his emotions swing from one side to the other very quickly. He doesn’t understand what the vlog is supposed to achieve so he just word vomits. His vlog is basically him thinking allowed.
I’m gonna be honest with you. Im disappointed with Allura’s vlog. She deserves development that’s not hidden and implied. I kinda wanted her to break down. To feel the loss of her people, her planet and her culture. But she’s a princess. Trained to put everyone else’s needs above hers. So she does. She won’t publicly express her pain.
Remember, these vlogs aren’t supposed to be private. These are supposed to go out to the coalition and the rebellion.

She’s a beautiful, talented, smart, memeing nerd and I am so glad to call her a friend!! But the cool thing is we’re actually very different people? And because of that, I’ve started seeing things from a new perspective. Like, for example, I used to not care very much about landscapes/sunsets/etc, but she’s the kind of person that’ll send you a scenery picture on a pretty day, and now I appreciate the sky more?? That sounds really silly, but… I dunno.
I guess what I’m trying to say is… She got me out of my dumb cloistered mental-bubble and I really appreciate that. XD
