5 facts about my best friend. 

- one time I spent like 20 minutes at a tram stop in germany in sixth grade explaining to one of the teachers from my school (in english) that I didn’t believe in the idea of best friends because it implied that all your other friends are lesser and you don’t appreciate them as much. the conversation went something like this: “you’re new this year. aren’t you?” “yes” “are you doing well? making friends?” “yeah, I guess” “so who’s your best friend?” “I don’t believe in having a ‘best’ friend because it implies that you value one friend more than others and it is an exclusive term and I prefer to have a few close friends” “oh.” that’s not word for word but it’s close enough

- in elementary school I hung with a group of girls that sometimes stole things from annoying boys and hid them in strange places in order to get the boys to leave us alone for just one recess. some days in fall I would come in from recess with red maple leaves braided into my hair. some days in spring there were flowers. the teachers never said anything about it

- right now, at this school: so talented. I am constantly being blown away by talent and bravery and creativity and work ethic and humor

- we don’t hang out often enough

- idk how I ended up surrounded by the people I’m now lucky enough to call my friends but wow! I’m glad

weedbagel i mean idk how often it happens I don't think it really does but delivery ppl getting robbed and assaulted is a thing but I guess I will keep this as a choice for a job.. although I don't even live in chapel hill anymore so I think that place is like 30 mins away from me if its at university mall

white- do you think family is important?to an extent. i tend to view the family you choose by forming close relationships with people as more important than the family assigned to you but if your genetic family loves and cares about you and treat you well then that family is important toonettle- is there anything you do when you feel guilty?i sleep a lot when possible. also i ignore the feelings of guilt so they just sort of sit there forever until one day when i will become a big ball of guiltmint- what song gives you energy?i honestly dont have a particular song that i could say energizes me idk i listen to music when im tired or sad most of the time anyway and energy isnt exactly what im looking for

23. how have you felt today?

meh idk on like 5 hours of sleep but i woke up at like 5:30 am so ive been up since then so i’m feelin  a bit exhausted and lazy but this is like every day so i’m pullin thru

27. would you rather have starbucks or jama juice right now?

hmm well not completely sure what jamba juice is and i just had kinda bad but convenient coffee from my clubhouse and juice sounds a little good rn but... starbucks
