Do you believe in love at first sight?

no. even in movies, i have to suspend my disbelief a little when i comes to that kind of thing. love just isn't that shallow. not when it's real. 'love at first sight' is nothing more than attraction, or infatuation, maybe, to someone's physical appearance. now, love at first note, on the other hand... that's far more believable, in my opinion. it's pretty incredible how hard the human voice can tug on the heartstrings, when utilized correctly.

did you go to prison over the summer

i've never been incarcerated, no, but tech week for cinderella felt similarly what i imagine prison to be like at times. several of my castmates were woefully unprepared, some weren't even off-book, if you can believe that. so... no, to answer your question, but basically, yeah.

what’s your favorite binge watching show?

i'm currently working my way through downton abbey, and i've been enjoying that one a lot. to be honest i'm not much of a binge watcher, really. i don't often have enough time to sit and watch hours of television on end. by the time i'm caught up, everyone's already moved on to the next one and the discussions around it are over.

Dream vacation location?

i've been fortunate enough to travel to a good number of various locations around the globe - some for vacation, some for opportunities, and anywhere i can catch a good, live show is usually at the top of the list. whether it's theater, a concert, or something else entirely... as long as the performers are skilled, that's where i like to be -- after myself being the one on stage, of course. out of places i haven't yet been to, though? hm. australia, maybe. i'd love to see the sydney opera house in person, and i'm pretty fond of finding nemo.

do you have regrets about what you did last year?

i did plenty of things last year, you're going to have to be far more specific.

but, presumably you're referring to my choice to follow along with vocal adrenaline's plan to take down the new directions? yes. even if it had worked out as planned - which, i guess it did partially -...actually, i don't know if i can say for sure that i would have. there's a chance i wouldn't have thought twice about it, if we'd won nationals i hadn't been forced to reflect on everything. i'd be in los angeles right now. i guess that doesn't matter now. though i don't think i'm singularly at fault, i was the leader. i could have said no, if i really wanted to, but.. i didn't, and i ruined something great in the process. it's not just a regret - it's my biggest regret.

What's the most fun you had this summer?

performing the role of prince christopher in the lima playhouse's production of cinderella. there's nothing like being on stage in front of a crowd, no drug like the roar of applause from a pleased audience. it's not the most important role in the show, obviously, but it's an honorable one, and, considering that my performance was the most talked about one... i think it's safe to say job well done.
