Holy Cats, I just found out that there’s a whole event dedicated to Slayers! Whipped up a quick Seigram in honor of the occasion.

Slayers Week Day 2: Minor Characters
Holy Cats, I just found out that there’s a whole event dedicated to Slayers! Whipped up a quick Seigram in honor of the occasion.
2017 week 1
As part of my plans for this year I thought I’d do a once a week review just to keep myself mindful for what I’ve been up to. I’ve been finding it easier and easier to track and write down stuff so this seems like a good way to just giving a general review of stuff.
So the 1st was my 25th birthday and this year it was chill and really lovely. I had a party the night before and two friends stayed over - one who was staying for a few days and another who stayed one more night. Having them around was a total delight.
I got loads of lovely things (seriously, starting the new year with gifts rules) and more friends came over for the day so we drank fizzy wine, ate Finnish snacks and birthday cake and played games. I think I went to bed at about 8pm.
The rest of the week involved me starting a new yoga challenge (I do yoga daily now and my fave yoga channel started a 31 day challenge which had been so much fun) and getting things sorted for the next year. I upped my hours at the library, my kitchen is very closed to finished, we’re about to start a new rpg in my gaming group and I finally bought frames so we could put up artwork in the flat.
I’ve started editing my novel and re-writing and planning for my podcast. I’ve been taking pictures more often of things that make me happy and using what I learned in a mindfulness photography workshop to make it a useful rather than stressful act.
All in all week 1 was very chill and productive. So far week 2 has been as well, but it’s going to get busier soon so let’s hope I can keep my peaceful mindset!
