Nutjobs by @ironicarmy is definitely a hidden gem. If anyone is need of a perfect mixture of good writing, hot smut, funny banter and pure crack, Congratulations you've found the right fic!!! The interaction between characters is adorable and batshit crazy at the same time. And the plot. The plot is absolutely insane and THE CHAOTIC ENERGY THIS RADIATES OHMYGOD!! Seriously guys this is honestly a mood lifter. Laura is an amazing writer and she has simply outdone herself with this one!!

i rec @yslkook 's #corporate series! it really hits all the nails on the head as a mid-twenties adult just wanting to get by life. the portrayal of all the characters is absolutely divine and the visuals on all the outfits she describes are insanely beautiful! sar's writing is really a breath of fresh air.

Another fic by minsugallery that’s very nice is You’re My Forever. It’s very sweet hybrid story and is basically a sort of prequel to another one of their hybrid fics but it’s written nicely so that it can be read as a stand alone as well. It goes through the emotions of jungkook and his life as a hybrid and how he was able to get through the dark times and still find happiness and it definitely is a comfort fic that’s very soothing and has the right amount of angst and fluff that don’t overpower each other and it’s so cute because they’re both so clumsy and adorably in that way.

For hidden gems week i want to submit Black Silk by @bangtanfancamp !!!! Soft dom mafia Joon it’s EVERYTHING and somehow has less than 100 notes so pls give it more love. The author characterizes Joon so well and it feels really well-developed, like you really trust him :’) amazing

Hello! I'm recommending again 🤗. It's my favorite read/discovery last year and it's so good. I'm surprised it's not in every fic recs list yet. It's re: untitled by @to-star-lake. It's a Jungkook arranged marriage fic with a dash of enemies to lovers. I love how this fic surprised me a lot of times with its 'revelations' per chapter. Even why the title is such, was a big surprise (no spoilers here because I hope everybody gets as surprised as I was). I enjoyed how the author planned these along the way but making sure that it's timely with the emotional build-up. I was just an emotional wreck during the last parts of the series. It's one of the stories that I thought were really balanced in its use of fluff, angst, and smut vis-a-vis plot development. I'm a sucker for perfect closings, which I thought must be difficult to do (like seriously how to wrap it up or close the fic). I finished this fic with that satisfied feeling but at the same time I felt 'empty' that I ended up reading it again to capture the emotions again. I can't rave about it enough but I hope more people get to appreciate this gem 🥰

hi there! i’d like to recommend the fic “wine bottles and pizza boxes” by @strawberrynamjoon !!

oc is trying to get over a heartbreak by staying in everyday and ordering pizza which results into her and her original pizza deliverer knowing eachother and becoming friends. when a new pizza deliverer arrives at the door (namjoon) shes surprised and due to her still ordering pizza everyday she gets used to seeing namjoon. her best friends (jimin and yoongi) notice, and helps them get together which ultimately follows their love story :D it’s SO SO cute and def worth the read

hi again! I’d also like to recommend ‘beautiful boy’ by @jinpanman :) this fic blew me away when I first read it for so many different reasons—mai is a really creative storyteller, and she really subverts all the expectations that come with reading fan fiction. it was so interesting to see a fic where the reader is deceased, the main pairing isn’t reader x member, and where love is portrayed so realistically. It’s messy, and mai shows that in how Namjoon struggles with his feelings for Hana, a former flame, and how he raises jimin as his own, despite the fact that he’s not his biological son. It’s just a lovely journey but accepting new love after loss, healing from grief, and celebrating families, however unconventional they may be, and beautifully written all the way through!
