Week 2: Best Namjoon Characterisation Week

In celebration of our favourite leaders birthday, this week is dedicated to your favourite namjoon characterisations in fics.

Criteria for recommendations:

Namjoon must be main character

It cannot have appeared on last year’s masterlist (found here)

Can be NSFW or SFW

I would like to submit House of Cards by xjoonchildx for Namjoon characterization week. Normally I don’t go for idol AUs but this one is so well done and insanely hot. I can’t even explain. The story follows a make-up artist who falls in love with Namjoon who is just the perfect blend of smooth and geeky. I swear I read the whole series in one sitting. SO GOOD.

despite the name... 'choke me, daddy' by yeojaa is still ALL namjoon and how sweet and giving and cautious i imagine he would be. also it's just plain hot!

So I would like to recommend beginners by namjoonchronicals It’s really beautifully described the day of a stay at home dad and it’s just so cute. It’s shows a responsable and hard working husband namjoon but still namjoon as how we know him. I don’t know how she does it but the story is really heart warming and just so fluff you just want to hug him and never let go. It really makes you dream.

For my second recommendation, I wanna day lumière also by namjoonchronicles It portraits a husband namjoon where the reader is smaller then him and it describes all the little struggles a couple can have but at the same time how the go over it. It really warms your heart. And namjoon is just so namjoon. Don’t forget the song of choice with the fic, it’s just the strawberry on top giving you a beautiful soundtrack that goes with the words you are reading.

And if I’m not too late, i want to recommend rkive by namjoonchronicles too. I love all her works if you haven’t noticed. Again husband namjoon but this time in a work setting, being the wife of namjoon where he takes her to work and everything. I don’t wanna spoil. It’s really beautifully written. It gives you butterflies. She writes about real life problems in a very realistic way. I really don’t know what to say more. Just read it. It’s beautiful. 🙈

I wanna rec The Interpretation of Dreams by ppersonna for Namjoon characterization week. It is SO SO SO GOOD. The dynamic between professor Joon and his colleague/protege is really scorching and Namjoon and a sexy, confident academic is can’t miss. I loved how genuine he felt through the entire story. So fantastic.

Hello! I would like to submit When it Rains it Pours by taetaewonderland for Namjoon Characterization week. Her roommates to lovers story is beautiful and I feel like this Joon is really very special because he is just so loving and caring and also a little dorky. The whole story just pulls at the heart strings. Cannot rec highly enough.

the most heartbreaking and perfect Namjoon is ofc from out-of-jams PRESS PLAY <3 This story is going to chew every reader's heart and then spit it out to the sounds of Mono is playing in background. It's just magically beautiful story!
