CONCEPT UPDATES/CHANGES: I didn't work on a single primary character. The backgrounds certainly take some time. I think I will bump the type of work another week or perhaps more. Need to see how it pans out. I still have a good chunk of backgrounds. The best things about all these backgrounds is that while there is a lot of up front work, I will then have all these backgrounds for good to use, reuse, tweak, add to, etc. The colors and tones and lighting will be easy to change as well if I don't like something. And I did not get into the weeds on things added to these rooms yet, like movable furniture, or other accessories that I will add later.
