There aren’t enough words in any of the languages I know to express my love for this woman. Marrying her was one of the defining moments of my life. I thank the universe daily for bringing this light into my life. 4 years down, forever to go. Happy Anniversary my love ❤️ #iadoremywife #happyanniversary #year4 #theroses71113 #paris #qwoc #mrsandmrs #blacklesbians #itsouranniversary
Moody, come on, do you know who you're talking to? The boy never has any clue as to what's happening so why would this scenario be any different? Of course it's difficult.
I am not going to forget this one...
Today was a very eventful day. Basically, I fainted while observing the anesthesiologist administer epidural to a pregnant lady. And then ended up getting a superficial scalp laceration due to my hair clip. Hence, they had to keep me in the ED for some time before I got discharged. I have had episodes like these before, but this was the first time when it happened way too quickly and I wasn’t able to salvage myself. I guess worse things could have happened, like breaking my nose or biting my tongue due to the fall. Thank god nothing of that sort happened. Although I am very annoyed by the fact that I got a wound from this experience, I did realize some important things.
a) NEVER SKIP BREAKFAST. I was pretty hypoglycemic and that was definitely one of the reasons why I fainted so quickly and easily. I have always had the habit of skipping breakfast, never thought too much about it. But since it has been established that I get vasovagal syncope in response to visual stimulus, I should be extra careful in making sure that no other factors come into play, which might provoke an episode like this once again.
b) Don’t wear any hair clips. It seems so harmless but nothing is harmless when you suddenly fall to the ground and bang your head. A small hair clip caused so much bleeding and resulted in me waiting in the ED for such a long time. Just no more hair accessories in the hospital.
d) If I ever feel faint in the hospital, it is completely alright to just sit on the floor (especially if there are no chairs). No one is going to blame you for it. And there is no need to feel embarrassed about it.
c) I have such wonderful friends whom I am extremely thankful for. To the friends who stayed with me throughout the ED journey. And my best friend who takes care of me so gently. I mean who would be patient enough to wash off the dried blood from my hair and neck, without feeling disgusted by it. I was feeling very emotional that my parents couldn’t be here to take care of me. But I felt even more emotional by the fact that I had such lovely friends who care so much, whom I can rely on, especially on my worst days.
Well this is one hell of a story that I can tell my future kids. I guess bad days do make good stories.
