The battle continues with the crossbowmen from the manor house. Keora makes good use of her Guiding Bolt spell and Neko’s high speed and healing saves a wounded Quinn from death. As the last two enemies retreat the party decides to head back to town for rest and healing.
Fearing another attack the group crowds into one room and barricades the door. Unfortunately the two half-orcs left on watch are a bit jumpy and at the sound of mice in the walls they begin smashing things with their axes. This wakes up the party several times during the night.
Just before daybreak Kieth remembers his Geas to “feed the fish” and rushes off to the docks before the new day begins. The party meets up with him at the Temple where he is demanding the High Priest lift this curse from him. The old man is clearly senile and instead of removing his spell he instead blesses the two half-orcs with Death Ward spells. Knowing this will only last one day the pair draw their weapons and charge off up the hill towards the manor house!
