Ok so I think I’ve been having the same recurring dream for some time now, or at least the same part.
Like it would start out as a regular dream with random things going on and I honestly can’t remember those parts, but it would end with the “main character” of the dream, basically Sherlock if I was Watson, going to the party of some magical humanoid creature and taking me as their second. The host and reason for celebration would be different every time (most recently a dwarf’s retirement party) and it would be the same place every time (I keep heading down this white spiral staircase)
Every time me and the main character would arrive late and not even dressed for the occasion but just in time for cake (I never got to try it)
Also must recently my dream was about being in an indie horror game where everyone had to wear a mask because if the thing saw you smile something bad would happen
