Squid Sister's act 2! i think i kinda prefer this cut for the colours changing, probably what i'll try to stick with going forward.

all right, whining over, lets get these idols dancing in, Deep Cut first. i will say, i really do like Frye in this shade of blue, nice and dark, and with all the accent colours being yellow, and her hat always being yellow on top of that, it feels like the best one of the trio.
even saying that, there's rarely much to say about Big Man, since he always just reflects a bit of his teams light off his bod, but Shiver's outfit... Yellow with cyan and green doesn't look terribly great to me, especially for how well Frye's is. maybe if her fingers were more green.
and the results! a very interesting divvying of the categories, i gotta say. and it's basically how i admit the battle categories should go, i've typed before. a team that won both Pro and Open should beat Tricolour alone. another thing i find interesting is that the most popular one lost, and, like, that vote was not by a small margin.
this is the first time i've managed to upload everything about a fest at once, and i would like to hope it's also the last.
the usual photos of Deep Cut's floats. i mentioned it in some tags yesterday, but i didn't feel up to playing the fest in the end, so first fest i missed since Unicorn/Narhwal in S2.

Shiver seems way less yellow than she should be here.
and the Squid Sisters on day 1. i went with a different timing on clipping this one, and i think it made my job certainly easier.
that said, i don't have anything concrete to say about how these two are. i do like to believe that Marie prefers a 7 day weekend, and Callie does not have a weekend.
i still picked a team, because i had a bit of catalogue i figured i could save for this fest. and if i can speak my mind, the colours are so boring, and they still kept Big Man red, the colour he is normally, while swapping Frye and Shiver. they could've just did a full turn the dial, make him yellow, and Shiver Red, but nah. on top of that, it feels like they could have just made Frye the representative of Frye-day, like they joked in the news.
there's no meaningful difference for the three days for me, so for petty reasons, Sunday Sunday Sunday!
