Different evening same place and feet on cold stones. Densely grown meadows, still felt in all of its presence. Silence on the street, silence on the village square. New lanterns outlining the perimeter of the old farm house up the hill, unsure why they are lit today. Not  very much enticed to find out for now, either. Distance in space and in mind and having mixed gut feelings about that. But maybe it's just lack of sleep, at least to some degree. Have a soft night wherever you are.

The day went by quickly, as all of its predecessors did, this week. Friday evening, backdoor observations, the sound of what seems at least wind in the ash leaves above, the vast differences of the aural environment comparing city and village without any real preference, just a perception of different outer realities shaping different inner modes. Staring into early dark, until eyes grow tired enough to feel comfortable closing them for a bit. Sleep safe everyone wherever you are.

10pm and out there again, standing in the backyard and letting all senses embrace what this moment holds. Lights on terraces and balconies, and a bunch of bright stars up where the roofs edge the sky. The scent of fires and charcoal on the other side of the fence, music and laughter with people celebrating the first warm evening in a while. Sleep always at arms length, but dreams might still take some time to reshape. Have a quiet night wherever you are.
