Bad at Breakfast
I made a really crappy omelette this morning. It fell apart in the pan because I don’t believe in too much filling and some of the egg stuck to the pan. My mom makes amazing omelettes, but no matter how many times I watch her make them I can’t seem to do the same thing.
I was really bummed out this week. I was really excited for a trip to Europe with my friends next month that involved time in London, Amsterdam and Paris, but due to our financial situation right now and also on account of me not having my shit together, I had to cancel those plans.
I’m going to try pick up another part time job and save money to make it happen in the summer.
oh fuuuck.
I ate an entire batch of brownies on my own in the span of three days (this weekend). And I have the WORST pimples invading my face right now. This is the baking conundrum. You bake a batch of something because you happen to be craving it that night, but you still have so much leftover for days to come. Because I have no self control I eat all of whatever I made in one go even if I’m not particularly craving it.
Highlight of the day: I went to meet up with my friend Kat for coffee. It’s been a while since I last saw her, so we had a lot of boy stories to exchange with each other. We went strolling around some nearby shops and laughed at some facial cleansing devices because we’re 12. No seriously COME ON https://www.foreo.com/luna?id=1073 there is no way this isn’t a vibrator. You are lying to yourself otherwise. In other news, I need a vibrator. But maybe one that isn’t so flipping expensive.
Last Friday I joined my mom for a kick boxing class. It was one hell of a workout but a lot of fun and I’d like to go again.
I watched a movie earlier this evening. It’s called Indecent Proposal. An old film from 1993. I would give it a 6.5 out of 10. It’s about a rich old dude who offers a married woman 1 million dollars to spend the night with him. The beginning had me going, but it got pretty slow towards the middle. You can still add it to the list of movies better than 50 Shades of Grey.
NOW. Tomorrow is the beginning of a new week. So I’m going to set some little goals. 1.Make a trip to the gym every other day. That’s Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Doable right? 2. Arrive to work earlier than everyone else. I have been the latest to arrive for the past two weeks and that is NOT OKAY. I’m still working on becoming a morning person. It’s a very long process. You guys get it.
xx Ella
