Welcome to the dysfunction that is my blog. For as long as I could remember I’ve wanted to start a blog, simultaneously I was holding myself back. The problem was, and honestly still is the fact that I have the writing skills of a 4th grader. I always came home with the worst English mark and my mum would often say to me “You’re English. You were born in London. You speak English. What do you mean you're not good at English?”. Funny right? But over more recent months I realized, I can’t keep allowing my inability to write hold me back from doing something I love. If women like Emily Blunt, Bethany Hamilton or even Oprah Winfrey let their obstacles overcome them, they wouldn't be where they are today. So I’ve decided to turn this blog into a person exercise. A journal. A vision board. A space for my ideas, where I can watch my creativity unfold and regain interest in the things that I once used to love. So as I go through this journey of trying to improve my writing and finding myself, I hope that I inspire you to start something new, or finish something you lost hope in.
