The LIEBSTER AWARD for Gourmet Weekenda from the Greek LITTLE COOKING TIPS
Today I want to thank the inspiring Greek blog the LITTLE COOKING TIPS for nominating the Gourmet Weekenda for the sweetest LIEBESTER AWARD. Thanks for sharing the blog love!
Everyone should definitely check out the LITTLE COOKING TIPS blog as it would bring the fresh, inspiring, wonderful foodie and kitchen adventures from the Mediterranean onto your worldwide tables.
The AWARD is given by bloggers to bloggers to honour the awarded blogs and to help build more awareness for them... It's a beautiful BIG gesture, and usually the chain is not broken.
What do we know about the AWARD?
LIEBSTER is a loving German term that means ‘sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome’. Origins of the LIEBSTER AWARD are a mystery. It started somewhere in 2010 and back then you should pick 3-5 favourite blogs that have less than 3,000 readers. That is fascinating stuff! In 2010 you were supposed to find 3-5 blogs that deserved more attention. In 2013 you should list 11. 11 with less than 200 subscribers. Quite a difference! How do you go from 3-5 blogs to 11? And how do you go from 3,000 subscribers to 200?
