#WeekendMovieNight #TheLionKingPH was shown beginning Wed last week. My daughter vividly recalls the original & wanted to see the remake badly. So there we were trekking to the cinemas to see this new version!

If you liked the original, you shouldn't miss the remake. I found the photorealistic take to be quite awesome. Imagine that there weren't real animals at all! Wow, the technology!

Well, the main story was still there. At least I didn't find Timon & Pumbaa annoying, unlike in the cartoon version. I didn't expect much in terms of facial expression from the graphics. I guess that's why there's no disappointment on my part. Overall, we really enjoyed the movie. It was truly entertaining.
