To start off the fic rec lists, here are some of my favorite Batlantern fics!
In Ruins by sharkshark - It's the late 1930s and Bruce Wayne is an expert in Egyptian archaeology. When he's called down to Egypt to help out an old friend, he meets Hal Jordan and everything goes downhill from there.

However, it had happened the Justice League was sitting on the floor of the Watchtower’s conference room playing Never Have I Ever and Batman wanted to break someone’s face. Possibly Green Lantern or Aquaman’s faces, they were the ones who had insisted that if they were doing this, they needed to be sitting on the floor.

Or, Bruce does a nude spread in a high end fashion magazine and gets quite a few reactions. It all works out in the end.
