It’s the anniversary of The Duel, so here are some photos of the duelling site from when I was in New York last month. 

The park (Alexander Hamilton Park, naturally) is actually really nice, and the view is pretty spectacular of NYC. But check out how much river you have to cross to get between the two shores - imagine rowing across, that’s a lot of time to think about the upcoming potentially deadly confrontation. Or worse, that’s a long way to row with a bullet in your back.
