It's Feelings Friday! Let's talk about mushy stuff.

Murdock Monday, you say?

I woke up feeling aw-ful and I just want to cuddle and cling to Matt like a koala bear.

I hope you feel better lovely.

Matt is always open to cuddling and you being clingy. Especially when he knew you weren't feeling the best.

When you first woke up, he could tell something was off with you. He could tell by the soft groan you let out when you first opened your eyes and by the way you reached for him when he went to get up.

"It's okay baby, I'm just going to the bathroom. I'll be right back," he assured you placing a gentle kiss to your forehead. His heart nearly broke at the soft "Okay" that escaped your lips.

When he returned to bed with you, he instantly pulled you to be laying on top of him while he softly stroked your hair. "We can stay in bed all day if you want," he spoke softly, placing a kiss to the top of your head. You nodded against his chest, wanting to spend all day in his arms.

The remainder of the day was spent laying in bed, aside from a few minutes at a time where he made sure you ate and stayed hydrated, but even then you were in his arms on the couch or at the table.

"I love you Matty," you said with a small smile, laying your head on his shoulder, your legs wrapped around his torso as he softly ran his hand up and down your back.

"I love you too," he whispered into your shoulder, placing a gentle kiss on the exposed skin.

Brother!Matt finding out reader is pregnant and in a relationship with Foggy.

matt would be so protective and instantly go into uncle mode. also i changed it a bit to an established relationship with foggy but not like married or even engaged just been together a while.

You had been dating Foggy for a little over a year when you missed your period. Instantly, memories of a night spent with Foggy sans condom flooded your brain. The night it happened was spur of the moment and using a condom wasn't exactly priority due to being on birth control and reassurance that if anything happened Foggy would stay. That day you took a test and watched as the two little lines appeared.

You instantly called Foggy that day, asking him to come home saying there was an emergency but not to involve Matt. As soon as he stepped into the living room you showed him the test. "I took 3 of them they're all positive," you said worried scared of his reaction.

"I'm gonna be a dad?" Foggy asked with a smile. You simply nodded in response, tears of joy filling both yours and Foggy's eyes as he wrapped his arms around you.

4 weeks later, you walked to Nelson, Murdock, & Page and talked to Karen while Matt and Foggy talked to a client. You and Foggy had already decided that today was the day that you'd let Matt know that the two of you were expecting. "Hey kid, everything okay?" Matt asked, slightly being able to hear the extra heartbeat but deciding to ignore it.

"Actually, Foggy and I have some news for you," you said nervously. When he didn't respond, you pulled out an ultrasound picture that you had captioned in braille along with the typical caption.

"Murdock 8 week ultrasound," he softly said aloud before realization hit him. "You're pregnant?" he asked, turning to Foggy before you could answer, "You got my baby sister pregnant?"

"Matt, it was my fault honestly," you tried to tell him.

"No," he simply said, "I can't be mad at you, you're my sister. I can be mad at Foggy though."

After much talking about what the two of you had planned, including naming the baby Jack after your dad if it was a boy or letting Matt pick the name if it was a girl, Matt come to his senses that while he wasn't the biggest fan of you having a child yet, at least you and Foggy would be great parents.

"I'll let this one slide, but no more until you two are married," Matt joked as he pulled you in for a hug, secretly overjoyed at the idea of being an uncle.

"No promises," you joked, "you know the Catholicism and issues with birth control."

Matt Murdock Mondays!!! Matt is definitely a little shit when he realizes how easy it is to fluster them in the beginning of the relationship. But then once they're in an established relationship, literally anything romantic and he's red as a tomato 🤭

It starts off with touches that linger just a little longer than they should when the two of you first meet. Then there’s the occasional joke that he knows will get your heart racing, especially common when doing something like playing pool.

“Fuck you,” you laugh out as he sinks the last ball, beating you once again.

“Maybe after an actual date,” he responds with his signature smirk, enjoying hearing your heart rate speed up and you fumble with trying to come up with a response.

However, somewhere around the 6th month mark of being with him things changed. You couldn’t tell if it was because he knew you were serious about wanting to be with him or if it was something else. Either way you were the one making him flustered now.

Something as little as meeting him at Nelson, Murdock, & Page to bring him food when he has a difficult case and he’d be blushing. He’d be beet red when you call him during a slow day at your respective jobs and told him it was just to hear his voice.

One day, you decided to visit him on your off day and nearly everything you said to Matt turned him into a fumbling mess. “Your tie is crooked pretty boy,” you said with a smile as you adjusted it for him, causing him to let out a slight chuckle as he fumbled over his words.
