It's been a little while, I apologize. But this week's scripture is:

"Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends."(John 15:13)

Note:This doesn't strictly have to be a weekly thing, it's more about taking time to memorize and reflect on one scripture at a time. So if you miss a week (or I forget to post here), just consider it an opportunity to take a little more time with the current one.

It’s week 2 of the weekly scripture exercise, for those who are participating.

(If you’re only just hearing about this and have no idea what I’m talking about, this post will help clear things up a bit.)

This week, the scripture is:

“ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. “ (Philippians 4:13)

So, I’m starting this exercise where you have one scripture per week that you have to memorize and sort of try to apply to everyday life. I was thinking, since this is a great way to share the Word and stock up the mind’s library and all, maybe I’ll post each scripture here so anyone who wants to participate can. You can even drop by my message box and we can talk about it, if you’d like. <3

 “ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. “ (John 3:16)

The Weekly WORD, Jersey City

A little something for everyone this week. We have local author Patrice Hannon joining us with her first novel, Black Tom.
