This area of the school shows signs of instability because of the following reasons:
1.) I have noticed that it has weak layers. Since this area right here is situated between strong rocks and soils, the weak layers of this area will be the most likely place to occur
2.) Since it is the rainy season, factors like water, when subjected to the ground, it may cause a drastic landslide.
3.) When this area experiences a seismic effect, that adds stress in the rocks that is present in the slope, it may cause a rock fracture
4.) It has such steep slopes.
5.) As we can see, trees are present in the picture that means to say that, its roots provide a strong interlocking network to hold unconsolidated materials together and prevent flow. Although, the extra weight of plants may cause a slight destabilizing effect if the root network is of limited extent.
