This week I officially finished my last exam, and luckily, it went pretty okay. That means I only have one final step left before graduation: presenting my thesis. It feels a little unreal to be so close to the end of my academic journey, and I’m definitely feeling a mix of relief, tiredness, excitement, and nerves. This week was still quite busy, but knowing that I’m almost done makes everything feel a little lighter. I’m really looking forward to having more time and energy to write again and to focus more consistently on Tumblr, Patreon, and Wattpad.

The Rules We Break | Chapter One: Welcome to Westbridge University, where reputations are fragile, parties are dangerous, and one impulsive kiss can make your life very, very complicated. Chapter one is officially here, and I am so excited that you finally get to meet this world properly.

Fried Eggs: At Wembley night one, Harry tells the crowd he’s too busy for poached eggs. Y/N remembers exactly why.

What happened this week?

I’m so, so excited that this series is finally out in the world. Chapter one introduced you to Westbridge University, Y/N’s, and I already can’t wait to share more.

Because chapter two? Chapter two is where things really begin. There’s more plot, more tension, more campus chaos, and, most importantly, the kiss that starts it all. The very surprising, very good kiss that Y/N definitely did not plan for and absolutely does not know how to deal with afterward.

I’m honestly so happy this story has officially started, and I cannot wait for you to see where it goes next. ;)

What’s coming next week?

I would love your help deciding what to post next. I originally planned to post Chapter 5 of Office Hours. At the same time, Chapter 2 of The Rules We Break is also coming together really well, and I’m excited to continue Y/N and Harry’s story at Westbridge University. Okay, so this week feels very much like the final boss level of my academic era. I’m rounding up my exams this week, which means that after this, I only have to present my thesis and then… graduation time. Like, actual graduation. Cap, gown, emotional little crisis, “how did we get here?” kind of graduation.

So yes, I am currently somewhere between student survival mode and writer girl resurrection mode, but the end is finally in sight and I can practically hear my Google Docs calling my name again.

And because I apparently love making my life as chaotic as possible, I also decided this was the week to refresh a few things on here. A new taglist? Posted. A new masterlist? Also posted. Okay, so this week was a bit of a whirlwind. I got hit with a nasty cold (we love that for me), and just as I was trying to rest up, my mum jetted off on holiday—which meant I was officially promoted to House CEO.
