PC market shows steady recovery on weekly view
PC prices in the domestic market have edged higher this week, continuing a slow recovery from January lows. The recent movement has improved short-term sentiment without altering the broader context of softer longer-term pricing.
On a weekly basis, Indian PC prices increased by Rs 3/kg to Rs 165/kg. The fortnight trend shows prices rebounding from around Rs 158/kg, while the month view highlights a gain of roughly Rs 12/kg from mid-January. Trading activity has been stable, with prices moving in small increments and staying near the recent high of about Rs 165/kg. The lowest level recorded in the past month was close to Rs 152/kg, providing a clear reference point for recent downside. Indian PC prices therefore show a defined recovery range in the near term.
From a wider perspective, PC prices in India remain significantly lower than levels seen three and six months ago, and the year-on-year comparison also shows a marked decline. This contrast highlights that the current rebound is corrective rather than transformational, keeping procurement strategies focused on short-term signals,m PC Market, Steady Recovery, Weekly View, Polycarbonate, Domestic Market, Market Trend.
