❛ weezie! happy birthday, dove.
with hardly a second to waste, stevie enveloped her in a hug, arms awkward with the weight of the bags she still held. night had fallen, sweeping away the warmth of day and, with it, what little desire she had to be anywhere but indoors. as she’d stepped inside, a final gust of cool air snuck beneath her coat, brushing goosebumps along her thighs in an instantaneous succession, before weezie shut the door behind her. something about being in someone’s house for the first time never failed to place her outside of her comfort zone (unlike chewie, who appeared all too comfortable as he ran straight to luke). it brought with it the concern of whether or not to take off her heels, or which would be the rude decision; the strange sense that she shouldn’t touch anything, nor wander too far. yet her instinct of confidence won out after a moment, though that instinct felt timid, as she walked to the living area, every step seeming to echo and gaze wandering round before settling on the coffee table. she spoke while setting her various bags down -- two for groceries, one for a gift, one for her personal items.
❛ okay, so--- i brought stuff to make brownies, but i was also really in the mood for a chocolate coke so i got a 6-pack of those for us with some syrup. dunno if you’ve ever had it. there should be some peanuts in the bag as well. i heard peanuts and coke is a very southern thing here in the states? some ice cream, uh... yeah.

Cordelia was a very busy woman, but today just wasn’t a busy day. She hadn’t seen too many of her clients considering a few of them decided not to show up, opening up her schedule a little more. Taking this time to be languid, Cordelia spent most of her day reading books in her office, glasses perched like a bird on the tip of her nose.
She was so invested in this one book in particular, the sound of her phone lighting up from the reception desk, indicating her assistant was calling her, almost took her by surprise. Cordelia sat up in her desk chair, flipping the phone over and drawing it to her ears. The sweet sound of finding out her last client of the day, a new client, was on time (and actually showed up) livened her face into an almost smile, like a plant receiving water after a minor drought.
“Let her in,” Cordelia said before hanging the phone up, sliding a laminated flower bookmark her niece Stevie had made her into her paperback to save her spot before making her way from the desk to the chair across from the love seat in her office. The clientele always sat on the couch, and Cordelia sat in this chair across from them, a coffee table between the two. She watched as the limber brunette came into the room, gesturing towards the couch, as if to say ‘make yourself at home’ with her hand, instead of her words. If she were honest, the girl shouldn’t be making herself at home in the truest sense of the word - this was a professional setting - , but she was definitely allowed to sit down.
“What brings you here today, my dear? Your previous doctor has yet to send your files over, but I’ll happily prompt them until I receive your information. ‘Til then, you’re a blank slate.” And with that, silence.

&;— what ringtone my muse has set for yours
When they initially exchanged contact information, Stephanie probably just handed over her phone for Weezie to fill all of hers out – so based off of the ringtone library in Stevie’s phone, it’s likely that Weezie would’ve picked something she liked, more so than something that was necessarily “relevant.” Her ringtone is probably something fun like Dancing in the Moonlight by King Harvest, or Escape (The Piña Colada Song) by Rupert Holmes. Stevie’s used iPhones since the first version came out, so she’s built up quite a collection of ringtones.

&;— what my muse thinks of the way yours texts
She probably doesn’t necessarily think anything of the way Weezie texts; although she’s amused by the amount of exclamation points Weezie uses in response to when she sends a photo of Chewie (either the real Chewie or her dog, Chewie – Stevie probably has photos saved to her phone of the Star Wars character, honestly). She thinks Weezie’s a cutie in general, so her opinion of the way she texts reflects that.
&;— how quickly my muse responds to your texts
As soon as she can, really.
&;— how often our muses text
Though their messages aren’t frequent, their conversation is continuous. And is probably made up of photos, for the most part. Seeing as Weezie is probably the one person who not only tolerates, but enjoys pictures of Stevie’s dog, it’s definitely likely that Stevie sends them all the time.
&;— how often our muses call
Probably not very often, unless they’re not responding to each other’s messages or they have to say something more immediately and can’t necessarily wait for a response.
&;— does my muse purposefully miss calls from yours
Definitely not! She has no reason to ignore Weezie’s calls. The only reason Stephanie really ever misses a call is because she can’t get to the phone right away.
