Galaxy & Art Tamagotchi Original Shells Sell Out at WEGO 1.3.5… Harajuku Within Hours
This past weekend was the release of two additional Tamagotchi Original shells in Japan, Galaxy and Art (known as Art Style in other countries). The event was a scaled down version compared to the first one where the first 16 shells were released. WEGO 1.3.5… had an impressive display at their stores, and WEGO 1.3.5… was reporting inventory on their Twitter profile.
Well it looks like it only took a few hours for WEGO 1.3.5… Harajuku to sell out of the two new shells! They were sold alongside 6 shells from the original release back in November. Those six shells, Mermaid, Paradise, Lighting, Sakura, Retro Flowers, and Ice Cream. These returning shells did not sell out, and appear to still be in stock at the WEGO 1.3.5… Harajuku store.
Both Galaxy and Art shells were sold out by 9:20PM as WEGO 1.3.5… announced on their Twitter profile. The store closes at 8:00PM so it appears that from opening at 10:30AM the two shells sold out within hours! Clearly the demand is still high for the Tamagotchi Original in Japan, which is also why Bandai Japan announced another 4 shells that will be released in March, 2023!
