Balance
In 2015 I started weightlifting with New York Weightlifting Academy. The first time I touched a barbell was when I was introduced to Crossfit. Last summer I trained in a gym that was dedicated to only weightlifting-- (where I am now). I immediately fell in love with the sport.
At the time I couldn't tell you why I loved strictly weightlifting. After meeting these weightlifters- It made it all clear why I switched over to the "dark side" as some folks called it. ha!
There's a process, learning curve or whatever you want to call it, when it comes to weightlifting. Remaining focused and confident is underrated. Either way, I found these two weightlifters have a good balance and positive approach to the sport.
