Heckuva Weiner!

You have to give the media some credit for their role in #Weinergate. No seriously, you really do, they've done a heckuva job.

If there is one important lesson to take away from the recent events, it's this: American media outlets are entirely capable of demanding answers to questions when they want it bad enough. They made it clear to Congressman Weiner that he would not be asked anything but the same question over and over again until he answered.

That they chose to put their foot down on this issue and not on something of greater import, like WMD lies, Wall Street robber barons, or Karl Rove's involvement the Plame affair, that boggles my mind.

But let them never again claim they can't get answers.
