To-do lists in Persona have no chill lolol
Dudes...I have the craziest bosses. One of them made me an award for all my hard work and presented it during our team meeting.
Meanwhile - OUR DP FILMED IT ON HIS PHONE LIKE A PROUD PARENT
And I'm over here like -
AND THEN HE TURNED THE CAMERA TOWARDS ME AND MY DUMBASS IS LIKE -
So that was my day
My boss's wife talks a lot. She talks soo much, that her saliva collects in her mouth and she has to pause mid sentence to slurp her saliva and swallow, or else she'd probably drool.
My Bosses Are Weird Pt 2 - #4
Hello and welcome to the second Part of my weird stories about work, and my experiences with the CEO & CFO.
Read Part 1, #1 - 5 Here Read Part 2 - #1 ~ Part 2 - #2 & 3 Here Part 2 - #4: My Boss Sometimes Asks Me Uncomfortable Questions (when we’re alone). My Boss brought up again, that old coworker is pregnant. He said something like, she must be fertile or something. Since she said no more babies after the 2nd one. FYI, She has two v cute boys, one is almost 10 years old, I think, and the other is over a year old. And i said yeah, definitely not practicing safe sex. (okay in hindsight that probably was not the best thing to say). And then i figured that would be it. End of topic. W-R-O-N-G Then he goes, yeah i guess. Do you? Use… Ya know? So i kinda just said … Yeeeeah…. – Cause I’m assuming he means birth control or condoms or something. I mean, wtf am I supposed to say? (besides “it’s none of your business”). I don’t even get a chance to change the subject before he goes, So are you active? So i said, Uh what?! What do you mean active? Yes? *fakes confusion*….. *changes the subject* And then he says, I guess it would depend on how you define “active” , like if you are old… 1x a week is a lot… but if you’re young then every day is a lot. Good thing I’m young. I didn’t comment and just changed the subject again.
I can’t wait to quit.
My Bosses Are Weird Pt 2.
Hello and welcome to the second Part of my weird stories about work, and my experiences with the CEO & CFO.
Read Part 1, #1 - 5 Here Part 2 - #2: They Think Arguing A Lot Is Healthy In Relationships
No. No. No. No. A million times No. When they asked me, “How often do you and Mister argue?” I replied with, “Uh, never. We have discussions. We agree to disagree. We do not argue.” What I’m really saying here guys is, “ We do not verbally abuse each other with our words. Neither of us makes the other person feel uncomfortable or defensive. Or worthless. We have an open dialogue. ” Then they looked at me in horror. Because, omg that’s so unhealthy. “Chise, that’s not good at all.” (squinting) “What do you do when you get mad at each other?” “We tell each other that we’re mad at the other person for (these reasons) , and move on. Hug it out, because we don’t want the other person to feel unwanted just because the other person is mad.” I like hugs. At this point they looking at me incredulously. “Oh, no.” says Wife. “When I get mad, I can’t talk to him (my Boss) so I ignore him until I’m able to talk to him again. You do that too, right?” Boss chimes in, “Sometimes it goes on a day or two.” “No. I don’t ignore Mister. Ever. I wouldn’t want him to do that to me, so I don’t do that to him. If I don’t feel like talking to him for any reason, I tell him so. Then he respects my wishes, and I sometimes leave the room to be alone simply because I want Me Time.” Cue condescending tone of voice (wife) . “Well, that’s just unhealthy. You need to argue, and let out your feelings and thoughts. (Boss is nodding along. ) When you’ve been married / together for over 20 years like us, then we’ll talk.” “We’ve been together for 6 years…” “You’re still young. Don’t worry.” At this point, I really don’t think we’re talking about the same thing. The type of arguing Wife is talking about sounds like an abusive relationship. I just let the conversation go. You ignore someone, give them the cold shoulder, then that person doesn’t exist again in your eyes until you give them your attention again. Your attention is the greatest thing you can give someone. You want to let out your feelings or thoughts, then talk about them. There’s no need to test the other person, whatever that means. No need to scream and yell and attack each other. You don’t do that with your friends (hopefully) so why would you do that to your other half? Argue if that’s what you do. All relationships are different. But please recognize the difference between abuse and just hashing things out. I don’t worry about my relationship. I know it’s healthy, and I don’t need my weird boss’ approval.
My Bosses Are Weird Pt 2
Hello and welcome to the second Part of my weird stories about work, and my experiences with the CEO & CFO.
Read Part 1, #1 - 5 Here Part 2 - #1: We sometimes eat lunch together.
In our old office (we moved to a smaller location) the floor plan was bigger and more open. There was a lunch table and chairs, which we used to eat lunch together (and have meetings). I was expected to bring (a semi healthy) lunch and we’d chat. It was hard for me because they wanted to talk about work but also have casual conversations and we don’t relate. It was (one of) the most uncomfortable thing(s) for me. Anyways, the wife would do this thing where she used the back of the chair to massage her back, like she’d lean backwards on the back of the chair and use it to dig into her muscles. And then she would moan. Like it was totally a normal thing to do. I’d sit there and try to keep a straight face or else I’d start cry-laughing. Example Dialogue: Wife: Omg my shoulder/back hurts. Do you think I slept on it wrong? It’s been a while since I gave myself a massage. Wife: *starts massaging herself * Wife: *moans* Mmm Wife: I give better deep tissue massages than a massage therapist. They never do it right. Wife: *moaning* Ahhh
NO Hugging Pls
Me: OK byeeee, see you on Monday.
Boss: *hug*
Me: *normal/brief hugs are acceptable*
Me: *nomal hug back*
Boss: *still hugging*
Boss: *still hugging*
Me: *drops my arms to my side*
Boss: *still hugging*
Me:
Boss: *still hugging*
Me:
Boss: "Why'd you stop? "
Boss: *still hugging*
Me: "I was done. So I stopped."
Boss: "LOL" *still hugging*
Boss: *finally done hugging*
*** note to self - add this to my Weird Bosses posts... can't make this shit up
My Bosses Are Weird (Sometimes)
They’re a married couple. That’s not weird. #1: They’re worried about air quality. We don’t live in a heavily polluted area (West Coast, USA). The air quality is pretty average, nothing really to complain about, and it’s not bad like in China or something. But my bosses have 3 (or 4??) air purifiers in their home.
