"Tch. What's in for us if we gonna join that evil league?! Last time we teamed up with other bozos, they turned on each other an' we got our butts kicked over nothin'!"
"Actually, they didn't really kick our butts tho. Ya know, just a little. They caught us by surprise and everything. We been the ones doin' most of the butt-kickin' out of everyone!"
(Skunk Prompt for Shigs. I'm not really up to date with MHA so I hope this works? ^^)
“Well first off, being a stand alone villain or villain duo will get you no where. Heroes will always team up with each other and take you out. With numbers on your side, you become stronger. And the League isn’t a team of ‘bozos.’ We’ve been through fights together and have even taken out an army by ourselves. We don’t turn on each other unless you betray first. If you have issues with another team mate, you come to me about it. I don’t have fights in my League..”
Shigaraki turned to look at the other brother. “Gotcha.. That’s what I need on my team, is someone who can kick butt. I can imagine you two are sick of how you’re being treated.. Mutant type quirks are never treated fairly.. are they?”
@weirdbunch
if you’re ever in trouble, i’ll help you. that’s what brother’s are for.
i’m happy to have met you.
she made her body resistant to poison for you.
through several lifetimes fushi had alwas been met with such comforting words from those they considered a comrade. never blaming them, always just wanting the best for them without expecting anything in return. they had all been so selfless and kind, totally unlike fushi themself who only ever acted out of self interest. they had already come to the realisation centuries ago that there wasn’t much reason behind their action that went beyond not wanting people to be in pain and die and leave them behind. even at a time like this, they struggled with facing reality.
this world was a safe world, a world where everyone could find happiness, that was what they truly believed, and fushi genuinely wished to bring everyone back, to let them live their lives and fulfill their dreams. whether said dream was opening a bakery or achieving world piece. but this not being their world, they couldn’t help but fear and worry. the fye was necessary to bring a person back from the grasps of death, but was it even possible for fye to reach this place beyond and if they were, how many of those they held dear had actually followed? the fear of attempting only to be left behind was overwhelming.
but they had to attempt. if they ever wanted to have even a chance to see everyone again, they couldn’t let the fear hinder them. “it’ll be alright...” muttered to themself, not knowing whether those words were meant as belief or to relieve themself that even if it didn’t work it wasn’t like they hadn’t spent so much time alone anyway. and not a moment later laid the empty bodies of some of their most important family members before them. unmoving.
“... haha...” fushi let out a laughter that carried no happiness with it really. crouching down they let the gloves covering their fingertips run over the features of gugu’s mask. then their glance turned to march who laid unmoving without opening her eyes. just as expected, it was a failure... about to rise in order to dispose of the bodies, suddenly fushi could swear they heard a gasp. yellow eyes immediately trying to take in every detail, every possible movement from the two before them, it seemed almost as if gugu’s chest was moving. “..gu...gu..... gugu..? gugu you’re there aren’t you?” falling back to their knees, fushi reached a shaking hand towards their self proclaimed older brother. “... please be there...”

Was that a... turtle? Mat couldn't believe his eyes, it was so tall.
Mat looked up the mutant turtle’s legs, dare he say, they were very human-like —musculature and all. Turtles usually had stubby legs.
❝ 𝐉𝐞𝐞𝐳... 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐮𝐠𝐞. ❞ Mat commented. ❝ 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐢𝐳𝐞? ❞ Michelangelo may of been a weirdo, but all smaller animals had a sort of brotherhood in Mat’s eyes. This was a human-centric world they all lived in everyday and they should have each other’s backs in it in order to survive it. ⸻They're all in this together.
❝ 𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐛𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭? ❞
"Yeaaaah, either I'm incredibly basic or we need to be best friends right now."

✒ --- “You might be surprised how often I hear that.”
And yet, as always, Jamack still carried the smile of a fool with all the luck in the world--that, or one who strategically thrived off of others woefully underestimating him. Either way, a little luck wouldn’t hurt at the moment. As it turns out, the location he just so happened to have picked to lurk around for valuables or possible future spot to lay low wasn’t so vacant after all. Even worse, he was alone.
A quick glance around his surroundings for any vantage points in case this confrontation did go sour, and the frog stepped forward... almost insisting it.
“Look, I can guess that you likely weren’t expecting company, but what kind of greeting is that, huh? I haven’t even done anything...!” He couldn’t help but point out as sweet and innocently as he could.

WHAT A STRANGE CREATURE, LITTLE ARI THOUGHT. Standing only a few feet away was a fuzzy figure, one far too big to be considered any kind of ' critter ', yet far too strange to be considered ' human, ' despite the bit of resemblance. His face was a little angry to Ari, too, and some features were unsurprisingly off - putting; for hands the size of boxing mitts equipped with sharp spikes at the knuckles were not the most inviting set that little Ari had ever seen.
Still, the child was curious, and willing to give chances to most. After all, we don't really know someone until we are given that chance, do we? And who was she to decide that he wasn't worthy of one, simply because of the way that he looks.
So the little girl, who was naturally as kind as she was easily frightened, fished out the most precious finds from her adventure today and let them settle at the top. Her basket was filled with the finest assortment of wildflowers that grew in the park of Green Hills. With her hands wrapped securely around its old handle, Ari then approached the stranger.
There was a bit of caution in her step, but such was not caused by reluctance; little Ari did not want to startle the stranger, is all, for that may make for a terrible start.
Once close enough, she extended a tiny finger forward and gently tapped his fuzzy arm, hoping to grab his attention.
" e … excuse me, please … " Ari began with a polite, soft tone. Then, as all children around Ari's age often do, she unnecessarily states the obvious. " mmm … mi … mister is very fuzzy and re … rrr … and very red, "
She paused to reach inside her basket, where a perfect red rose floated on top of all the other flowers, and offered it to him by the stem, careful to not prick herself on the thorns.
" do … does mister want my rrr … re … my red flower, please? i … it's very, very red like mister, and— " Now, what follows could be easily misunderstood, so it is important to clarify that this does not come a place of judgment, but rather observation, and, a way to show how she connected the stranger's details to the details of the flower in order to decide on the perfect one for him. " —i … it has pointy things, too. lll … like mister's pointy things … ! "
