Marble Sunday, n. First off, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Today’s February 2, 2021. Everyone at work’s been joking around how it was January 48 last week, we also have a document that’s stamped January 36. Can you believe that?! Additional 5 days on the first month of the year. The longest January just passed, a lot’s happened - and we survived this.... For sure I will also survive today. I am Steph and I’ve been avoiding marble Sunday for quite some time now. So yea.. I’m always always always grateful for new mornings. All the snooze time I can get and still be early for work - thanks to Angkas. But most especially, the time when I can move my fingers, open and close them and reach for my phone to snooze alarm lol no...to check the time...it’s always a problem, waking up. Can I stand up, can I move my leg, are my shoulders tight yes they are always..., I am already tired by the moment I wake up - this is what Lupus does to my body. But I try, I always try because nobody will do it for me. I wouldn’t be able to eat all the food that I want if I won’t fight this battle that I’m always in first thing in the morning. For my work mates, friends, roommates Kevin, Cedric, and Fhebie; my mom, Roxanne, and most especially my Sunday family, I am very thankful. Every day is a blessed day, not only when we achieve something, not only when we help others but most especially when we win our own hidden battles. Thank you and have a blessed week!
