They'd been paired up for a project in which they were to study a subculture and produce a report on it in a month. Zélie was only taking sociology for a science credit, so she wasn't super invested, but she was determined to make it as interesting as possible so that she could at least pass.
"Oh! Or how about those people who collect those baby dolls that look like real babies! The ones that blink and breathe and stuff! They'd be fun to study!"
