New YouTuber Sunday #4

So this week's new YouTuber isn't all that new to me, considering I first saw Lizzie Bennet Diaries about seven months ago, but this is the week I began to really enjoy....

Welcome to Sanditon! 

So the first few episodes were a little bit slow-- enjoyable, but the plot hadn't really gotten going yet. Frankly, I was perfectly happy just looking at Gigi and Clara's outfits and watching Clara make sundaes. 

But, you guys. You guys. This week? They gave us a ship. When I first saw Edward, I was like, "GIGI. LOOK AT HIM. DATE HIM." As the series progressed, though, it became clear that they would not make the best couple. 

On Monday, we got to see Clara and Edward having a real conversation without any threats or flying ice cream cones. Edward even politely asked if she would consider reinventing her business to accommodate the New Sanditon. It was nice to see them be able to actually talk and share interests without their different goals getting in the way. In fact, they remind me a little of a certain couple that started as enemies...

On Thursday, Clara mentioned her Australian friend, Sarah Richard-Preston. I can't wait to see if she'll appear in some early morning videos made by Clara. Or maybe we'll see her at craft night.

If you wrote the series off after the first episode, or let the YouTube comments turn you off to it, this is definitely the week to start again. Let's be honest, Mondays suck without something special in your sub box.

Just watched the first Domino video for Sanditon!!!!! Let's just say I'm super excited and I love that they chose Gigi to carry on the story. :)

Welcome To Sanditon started today. This is a follow up to the highly successful Lizzie Bennet Diaries and this time adapts Jane Austen's unfinished novel Sanditon which is about the inhabitants of a newly established seaside town. The series has been set in the fictional town of Sanditon, California. If you search for #sanditon on Twitter you will already see tweets not just from fans but also businesses in the fictional town! The series will be interactive and according to the Hollywood Reporter fans will even get the chance to create their own characters that will be able to interact with characters in the story.
