 The new video "The steel challenge" - 3° part: the ultra high strength steel Weldox

Weldox is an advanced high strength steel, that has extremely well bending and welding properties. we have advanced processing and production process in our steel mills, which actually allow that we have as little alloys as possibly in our steel. In addiction to that we have very even better properties since we always uses the same lines for the same qualities. When it comes to welding we use very little alloys in Weldox. This is quite unique, and we can only do that due to the pureness and the cleanliness of our steel. Also bending requires very clean steel, otherwise the steel would crack when bending and this would not be acceptable for our costumers. Nowadays it is more important than ever that the goods we manufacture are efficient, as efficiency in the workplace helps to reduce consumption rates and our environmental impact. High strength steel is the way to do this, because reducing weight also brings down fuel consumption and polluting emissions in the atmosphere.

Weldox è un acciaio altoresistenziale di nuova generazione che possiede ottime proprietà di piegatura e saldatura. Le nostre acciaierie vantano processi produttivi all'avanguardia, i quali consentono di ottenere acciai con un bassissimo contenuto di elementi leganti. Possiamo offrire proprietà elevate anche grazie al costante impiego della stessa linea produttiva per la stessa qualità di acciaio. Quando si tratta di saldatura, Weldox risponde con pochissimi elementi leganti. Questo è un fatto quasi unico e possiamo farlo solo grazie alla purezza del nostro acciaio. Anche la piegatura richiede un acciaio molto puro, altrimenti subirebbe delle cricche che i nostri clienti non accetterebbero. Oggi è importantissimo produrre dei manufatti che siano efficienti, ed efficienza nel settore in cui lavoriamo vuol dire diminuzione dei consumi e minor impatto ambientale.

Gli acciai alto resistenziali, portano questa vittoria riducendo il peso, che vuol dire ridurre il consumo di carburante e ridurre le emissioni in atmosfera.

Weldox ist ein extra- und ultrahochfester Stahl mit hervorragenden Biege- und Schweißeigenschaften. Durch unsere modernen Produktionsverfahren können wir den Anteil an Legierungselementen in unserem Stahl minimieren. Darüber hinaus erhalten wir besonders gleichmäßige Eigenschaften, da wir für eine Stahlqualität immer die gleiche Produktionslinie verwenden. Beim Schweißen von Weldox verwenden wir kaum Legierungszusätze. Dies ist nur möglich aufgrund des hohen Reinheitsgrades dieser Stahlgüten. Auch beim Biegen ist die hohe Reinheit des Werkstoffs von Vorteil, um Risse zu vermeiden. Heute ist es wichtiger denn je, dass unsere gefertigten Produkte besonders effizient sind. Denn nur so lässt sich der Materialverbrauch und damit die Umweltbelastung reduzieren. Hochfeste Stähle sind dafür optimal geeignet, da sie das Gewicht verringern und entsprechend den Kraftstoffverbrauch und die Emissionen senken.
