You know, as someone who's recently entered her 30s, I think there's something special about keeping the same interests you had in your childhood and youth and being unapologetic about it. I still enjoy cartoons, I still enjoy video games and I still enjoy playing with my pixelated dress up dolls. I am unapologetic and will remain unapologetic.

I used to think growing up meant giving up a lot of things you enjoyed and to conform, and in some cases, you do; but what I've learned is growing up doesn't mean being unhappy. I have other things that do that and if holding onto a blog I made over 10 years ago now and growing my list of new online friends, I'm happy with the life I have forged.

Oh my god I had the most amazing conversation today. Literally one of the best conversations I've ever had. I can't go into detail about it now because I'm out with my parents, but good gracious it was great. I'll post about it more later tonight.

I am honestly not sure if I'd rather be where I am now or wherever I'd be if I'd never fallen in love. 

I think somewhere down the line I will firmly rather be where I am now and be able to look at all the really positive things that came out of that first big relationship, maybe I'll even be able to do that soon, but right now I've just gotten into this stage where I have a lot of anger and resentment and it just feels terrible. 

I never knew I could love so much, but I also never knew I could hurt so much or that either would hang on for so long.

Finally crossing "see Purity Ring live" off of my bucket list. It's been a long time coming, and I'm coming down and sleeping happy.
