^original sketch. i drew hyes hand in a weird way first & now they are holding hands : ) not sure what to do with hyes sleeves yet. + she needs a few more accessoires. blurry donnie is a fun idea but i''m not sure how to execute it yet... wellaway doesn't get a face + i'm not really settled on a haircut but it's a good outfit imo those nerveless chancers...!

In the Realis character creation episode, Keith said that Wellaway was an orphan. So.

I think wellaway piaster is the spike spiegel of traveling circus clowns cause he's extremely skilled but also kinda low key. I think it's important to keep an eye out if he ever starts smoking cigarettes

I have been anticipating very much when Keith uses the sentence "I always anger the powerful" in Realis, and backseat gaming about how I would have pulled it out already. I think this sentence caught my attention the most during the character introduction session, because I am always very happy to listen to Keith being a menace. And I mean come on, it's a great sentence for a Keith character.

I like the characterization of Welloway and it's not like there have been too many characters with very much power to piss off in the game so far, although I think there have been at least a couple times when it could have come up. As much as I have been sitting at home chanting "anger the powerful, anger the powerful" whenever these opportunities arise, I think there's something delicious about letting the inevitability hang, too. Like, I've thought a lot about how I might have used it if I had been playing Wellaway against Krinsky in the scene when Krinsky demanded a cut of the money Wellaway earned. If I had been playing, I might have declared a dramatic intent to provoke Krinsky to overreact and embarrass himself or undermine his own authority. Regardless of why Keith decided to go a different direction than that, the choice implies maybe Krinsky isn't that powerful. So I'm excited to see not just when but against whom Keith decides to use that sentence.
