Jan 9th 2020: Say hello to your newest Grade 1 paradressage rider! When I was younger I never thought I would get to go to Wellington and be classified, and I’m so grateful to everyone that helped make this experience happen for me, even though I was frustrated we couldn’t stay longer. Wellington is a beautiful place and the West Palm Beach Equestrian Center, where the @adequanglobaldressagefest is held matches its grandeur. There were horses everywhere, groomed beautifully for competition from all over the world with equally as grand riders. The stables and surrounding areas were neatly kept. People were hustling about. The shops all over the grounds sold high end items. The warm up arena buzzing with activity as horse and rider teams prepared. The main arena was larger than any I’d seen. Being there was as magical as I thought it would be, maybe even more so. I don’t think I can quite find the right words to express everything I was feeling while I was there, but this experience was more important to me than my words can say. My heart and mind are filled with inspiration and new resolve. I now carry with me the goal to come back as a competing rider in the future with my four legged partner and friend in tow. I know we’ll make it together. . P.S for those interested in what classification was like, I’ll put the info on my story later today just so this post isn’t too long! . #horses #horse #horsesofinstagram #equine #equines #equestrian #paraequestrian #dressage #paradressage #paradressagerider #paradressagedreams #horseshow #dressageshow #adequanglobaldressagefestival #wellington #wellingtonflorida #wellingtondreams #classification #grade1 #thefutureisbright #2020goals #teamworkmakesthedreamwork #strongereveryday #cerebralpalsy #disabledbutnotreally (at Global Dressage Festival Facility) https://www.instagram.com/p/B7Ixz0EnVdp/?igshid=3g97zckmpavx
