The new moms have all found their places in the milk line and when they here me and see the lights come on in the morning they come running to line up. Its so crazy to me the arguement vegans have of milking goats and cows being cruel. My ladies enjoy it, it releives presure on the udder and stress all over , they get a treat to eat while they are being milked, i brush them after I milk them often trimming hairs that pull around legs and udder, remove burrs, give vitamins, some times give lactation cookies I make for them, it gives me one on one time with each of them, i know them better because they are milked and therefor can catch an injury or illness right away. Even my retired does stand in line now to be milked and we just give them a treat and brush them now. I understand that factory farmed milking is cruel and unnatural to the animals. But why are we fighting that milking is cruel in an attempt to stop it totaly and have no one eat or drink dairy, which will never happen. Instead why are we not all fighting for humane milking practices, fighting for farms to raise and care for the animals naturaly and propperly with love and compassion?
