New Feature: Week in Review

As you know, things have been a bit quiet here on the wellsb.com front. Admittedly, it's difficult to find time to write meaningful and original content. What's not difficult, however, is posting links to meaningful articles I find on the web each day. This is exactly what I do on Google+. Today, I am introducing a new feature to liven things up. No, I'm not going to spam you each day with excessive links to articles that may not interest you. What I will do, however, is provide a weekly recap of interesting news or articles that I've posted on Google+ but didn't make it to wellsb.com. Let me know what information you want to see. Add Google +1 to your Website

Today, Google has announced the +1 button for websites. To add Plus One to your site, Google has set up a simple configurator. It provides clear instruction to get your started. Additional documentation is also available. Note: To add +1 to your Tumblr blog, simply add {permalink}  as the 'URL to +1' as shown below:

Unfortunately, I'll have to wait until Google Profiles is enabled for Google Apps accounts in order to actually use it. Nevertheless, you should see the feature begin to roll out on wellsb.com shortly.

New ways to interact with wellsb.com

Today, I introduce new methods of interacting with wellsb.com.  First, I have updated the site's RSS feed to give me greater control, simplify feed subscription, and to provide you with more features.  Feel free to subscribe to the new feed in your favorite feed reader.

Additionally, I have provided new ways for you to share my content with your friends.  Now, you can easily share interesting posts via email, Google Buzz, Facebook, and Twitter.

Don't lose sight of the existing features!  If you have a question you’d like me to answer on my blog, you can ask it.  Also, you can still suggest a text, photo, quote, link, or video for me to post to my blog.

wellsb.com now has a commenting system

You may recall that I've experimented with comments in the past.  My ultimate goal is to utilize such a comment system based on wave-able.  However, until that becomes easier to integrate with my website (until waveable is officially released), I have decided to forge onwards with a commenting system powered by Disqus.  

You can leave comments as a guest or login with a variety of services.  I hope this will encourage interaction with and among my readers.
