     The place reeks of space. Places beyond earth atmosphere,      that should be impossible for humans of this century. Something      else, she’s decided. But she can’t quite ascertain what. Or who.      Or why they have a castle in the middle of nowhere, and why her      ship has landed her in the midst of it all.

Abandoning the TARDIS in a supply closet with the ship’s doors firmly locked, she ventures out into the long hall daringly. She can’t help her own curiosity - the TARDIS landed her here for a reason and with the readings, something is . . . well, STRANGE about the place.

   She’s determined to find out WHAT.

                   CHANCES  TO  LEAVE  the  castle  were  few  and  far  between,    which  only  made  the  prospect  more  attractive  to  the  groupie  whenever  they  DID  arise.    Excited  as  she  was,    Columbia  was  WELL  AWARE  of  her  companion’s  strong  distaste  for  outings.    In  consideration  for  the  other’s  delicate  tolerance  for  such  trips,    the  groupie  STRUGGLED  to  keep  her  enthusiasm  under  control.    With  the  slightest  of  a  skip  in  her  step,    Columbia  retrieved  a  cart  as  the  pair  entered  the  store.    SILENCE  had  been  lingering  in  the  air  between  them,    and  as  preferable  as  THAT  WAS  for  Magenta,     the  groupie  could  hardly  stand  it.    Her  hand  reached  for  her  friend’s,    giving  it  a  reassuring  squeeze,    ❝    It’ll  be  over  soon,    ❞    she  smiled  before  releasing  the  other’s  palm.

               a cold hand reaches out to touch magenta’s face ... but it stops when there’s just a mere few inches between them - SOON retracting her desire to touch the other as palm drops back beside her own hips.  a sigh slips from painted pout, oceans of blue staring up at the wild-haired transylvanian.  “ i think it’s wise that we do not see one another anymore. “  the vampire council have been notified of elizabeth’s visits with the other. they want it to stop ... they’d TAKE her crown away from her if she disobeys.  she fights back tears, her rare bout of sadness causing fangs to fall from her gums, snapping into PLACE to show magenta what a beast she really is.  “ ... there are few things that are important to me and i’m afraid my title is everything.  i can’t lose my fangs ... my crown to some woman ...  that wouldn’t be me being TRUE to myself. “

                   Frame  lazily  lounged  as  gaze  watched  the  screen  of  the  monitor,    her  BOREDOM  with  the  sight  of  the  same  empty  halls  apparent.    While  she  used  to  be  amused  and  intrigued  by  the  sight  of  LIVE  CAMERAS  which  didn’t  require  huge,    obvious  equipment  it  had  LONG  SINCE  worn  off.    A  SIGH  pushed  past  as  she  sat  up,    gaze  moving  to  the  SILENT  woman  whom  she  shared  her  company  with.    Groupie  shifted  herself  closer  to  the  other,    stare  lay  on  her  for  a  moment  before  palms  found  the  domestic’s  UNKEMPT  CURLS.    ❝    Y’  should  really  try  t’  fix  this,    ❞    tone  was  light  and  joking,    a  small  smile  spreading  as  digits  smoothed  through  the  fiery  red  locks.

                   Perched  upon  jukebox  which  had  LONG  SINCE  stopped  playing  music,    the  groupie  watched  WORDLESSLY  as  the  other  halfheartedly  cleaned  the  room.    Legs  ABSENTMINDEDLY  swinging  back  and  forth,    her  gaze  MINDLESSLY  STRAYED  around,    eyes  locking  on  the  throne  at  the  end.    Roseate  lips  CURLED  INTO  a  mischievous  smile  and  she  JUMPED  OFF  her  the  machine.    Columbia  crossed  the  room  without  any  form  of  explanation,    stride  halted  once  she  reached  the  FORBIDDEN  SEAT.    Shamelessly,    the  groupie  sat  upon  Frank’s  treasured,    over  glorified  chair.    Throat  was  OBNOXIOUSLY  CLEARED  before  Columbia  began  speaking  in  a  horrible  impersonation  of  the  castle’s  master.    ❝    Oh,    Magenta  you  haven’t  finished  yet    ???    You  should  KNOW  HOW  to  defy  science  and  obtain  super  speed.    And,    while  you’re  at  it,    learn  how  to  DUPLICATE  YOURSELF  so  you  can  fulfill  all  my  wishes  at  once,    ❞    BEAM  GRACED  the  younger’s  features,    her  pride  and  amusement  in  her  own  gag  APPARENT.

                   Eyes  ran  over  the  words  of  the  articles  within  the  SAME  MAGAZINE  she  had  read  dozens  of  times.    The  groupie  was  CERTAIN  that  she  could  recite  the  articles  with  the  utmost  precision.    Though  absorbing  the  same  information  was  MORE  PREFERABLE  than  allowing  the  thoughts  which  plagued  her  mind.    SHARP  EXHALE  pushed  past  glossed  lips  as  magazine  was  abruptly  closed  as  the  memories  entered  her  mind  ONCE  MORE.    Gaze  moved  to  her  friend,    waiting  for  Magenta’s  gaze  to  meet  her  own.    Anxiety  warped  her  features,    pearly  whites  BITING  baby  pinks  lips.    ❝    So,    uh                     ❞    she  started,    hands  tugged  and  fiddled  with  the  cuffs  of  WELL WORN  pajamas.    Throat  was  cleared  before  she  TRIED  TO  CONTINUE.    ❝    Y’know  Eddie    ???    ❞    Duh,    of  course  she  did.    If  she  wasn’t  in  her  OWN  SHOES,   Columbia  would  scoff  at  her  inability  to  tell  her  OWN  FRIEND  something  so  pressing.
