to be honest the reason I realised I could be into Summer/Ryan on The O.C. was this blooper (my most-thumbs-upped comment on YouTube is on the bloopers for a show I've never watched oh god but also he calls her darling so casually IT'S ADORABLE)

but also from what's seeped into my knowledge of the show because of everyone who's watched it and from what I've watched of S4 I am really into their ~vibes and how solid they are? like I like the idea of high school friendships that last for a while because they're so grounded and natural and then boom romance! I don't really have tolerance for 'ships that don't look like they could last, so
