Probably go. The cons are more of a big deal than the pros.

Stick with GoT. Your favorite characters will probably all die, but ones you hate get awesome and it all works out. Some of the women are **really** badass.
I think I probably will. I can't see how I could love any of what seem to be the major characters I've seen so far, bar Sean Bean's character.. but as it's Sean playing him, there's really only one way that can go. I eagerly await these badass characters though. So far Arya Stark is my favourite.

DEAR GOD I read that as “seduction leader”. Awesome that he likes your singing :-D
Oh wow, now I'm trying to picture what purpose it is a seduction leader would serve. I'm sure whatever it is, it features heavily in the plots of teen romance movies.

I think I was there for a bit of that, I remember something along those lines being mentioned. It wasn’t very understanding of different socio-economic stati and how they negatively affect POC most often. The conversation didn’t aid education, though
Yeah. I guess I just don't respond well to conversations that don't result in at least one participant learning something new. Especially on such an important issue. I was appalled when I read the anti-immigration statistic this-morning. I'm just kind of sick of the "but we're all immigrants" response now. It tastes a bit too much like white people making it about them again. Notice how abruptly the conversation ceased as soon as someone not of European decent walked into the room. We could have actually learnt something from someone who the issue would actually affect, but why would we need to hear his opinion when we already had all our white points of view?

I wasn’t the only-joking racism, with the Asians-on-my-bus comment? I was just trying to point out how weird it is that that can be a thing, that my area is so white non-whites are noticeable. Maybe I didn’t say it well :/
No, I thought you made your point well, at least I understood what you were saying. Maybe if I knew the others more I'd understand what they meant as well. To be honest though the worst thing I found was the ani-straight talk, joking about "breeders" and stuff. I'm not sure if you were there for all of it but it was in front of one of my best friends and also one of the only real straight allies that we've had in Rainbow and it was just really embarrassing and annoying. So after that I just kind of defaulted to finding whatever they talked about offensive. I get biased like that sometimes :S
