Sunday morning, bright and early. The sun peeked through your curtains as you layered a bit of powder on your cheeks. A popular song played quietly through your small radio and you finished up your look.
Your mom was having a midlife crisis. She was switching out hobbies, trying new diets, and going on yoga retreats to the middle of nowhere.
“You just don't understand, the weather in that mountain is to DIE for! They even have special incense to keep all the mosquitoes away!”
No thanks, keep the malaria and humidity for yourself. You'd rather sit at home and stare at a wall than watch some dude do the downward dog in a backwards gi any day.
Her newest attempt at self discovery: church! She found a tiny Baptist Church tucked in the woods that surrounded your quaint little town. You'd never been particularly religious but when she pulled out the therapist talk, you just relented. She loved taking bits and pieces from her little online homeopathic therapist and using them against you in arguments.
“It'll be cleansing, like a breath of fresh air.” She'd expressed into the phone, the smile in her voice evident.
“Mom, I work at 6 am on Monday. Why would I use my well deserved weekend to sit in an old shack and listen to an old man read an old book?”
You heard her gasp on the other end, you'd offended her. Great.
“Well, excuse me, one: the preacher isn't old. And two!” Her voice peaked through the speaker, making you flinch away. “The Bible isn't just an old book! It's an entire religion! It's a document of history! You're being very disrespectful when I just wanted to invite you along! It'd be good for you, honey. Mrs. Pauline always says-”
Here it was. “Mrs. Pauline always says that communication is key. Mrs. Pauline always says that every cloud has a silver lining. Mrs. Pauline always says half a loaf is better than no bread.”
“Okay! Alright!” You'd cut off her rambling about her therapist’s hypoallergenic cat, how the hell did she even get there? “I'll go. What time do I need to be at this place?” You asked, checking your schedule. No plans for Sunday that you could use to raincheck her plans.
“Be there at 8 am tomorrow, and we'll be having lunch afterwards.” She said matter-of-factly. And before you could complain, she quickly squawked that she's getting another call and that she'll see you in the morning.
And that was that.
So here you were, Sunday morning, getting ready for the big day. You quickly decided on your favorite sweater with some black slacks and a pair of heels to match the top. It was rolling into mid autumn and the temperature was steadily dropping. The soft cotton yarn would suit you nicely. You put on some dainty jewelry and pulled out a small crucifix on a thin chain to clasp around your neck. What better opportunity?
Anyway, 7:30 rolled around and you made your way out to your car. You didn't have a Bible, but you were sure your mom probably had one. Did that count as cheating, sharing a Bible? Like taking peeks at the work of the kid next to you in math class? You'd have to invest in one if this was going to be a regular thing. Whatever mom wants, right?
As you started your car, you turned up the heater and began down the road, following the quiet GPS on your phone. A few turns, curves, and hills later, you pulled up a dirt path towards a small building. Teeter-tottering up the road, you silently prayed your old tires wouldn't pop and finally found a parking space. As you got out of your car, you looked up to the giant behemoth next to you. A bright red Silverado glistened in the sun next to you with a big motif of a buck with a target on its head splashed across the back window.
Nothing like the artistic design of southern baptists.
You grabbed your purse and headed towards the building, your heels shifting across the dirt and rocks. You desperately tried not to break your ankles until you finally made it to the door of the church. You could hear people singing hymns before you even entered.
Walking into the church was almost like a culture shock. It was pretty much exactly what you'd imagined it'd be. Two rows of pews, lined up to face a stage with a small pulpit sitting front and center. The carpet was dingy, the walls were painted with a creamy beige color, and the pews creaked under the weight of even the smallest old lady. You scanned the seats, looking for your mother when you spotted the very identifiable back of her head. Her hair was always pinned up in a tight bun, her hair scattered with greys and silvers and you steadily made your way down the aisle toward her.
She smiled as you sat your purse down next to her. She leaned into your shoulder as you sat down and whispered, “I'm glad you're here.”
You smiled back warmly and opened the hymnal to the page your mom was on. You quietly mouthed along to the slightly familiar lyrics before you heard a door open, close, and the voices around you quietened.
You looked up, noticing that the preacher had entered. You quickly set your phone to silent as your mom pulled out her Bible.
“Good morning!” A smooth timbre voice echoed through the air as you snapped up.
“Good morning…” A smattering of low murmurs echoed back at the man standing up front.
“Ah, I don't think I heard y'all, I said good morning!” He practically shouted as he leaned across the pulpit.
The crowd suddenly woke up, repeating a resounding “good morning” back to the preacher.
“There we go!” The man chuckled a bit.
When you finally got a good look at the guy, you were shocked. Your mom mentioned that he wasn't old, but she didn't say he was young. Mid to late twenties, dark hair and beard, and when he laughed, his smile overtook his whole face. Even his eyes were smiling.
At your apparent look of shock, your mother nudged your side. “Brother Isaiah is a great preacher. Very wise for his age.”
The preacher was dressed in a maroon plaid button up, jeans, and cowboy boots. His belt matched his boots with a deep brown leather.
But he was young. Definitely not what you were expecting. And as he pulled out his Bible and notepad, he rolled up his sleeves and you found yourself staring. Tan skin, hair as dark as the hair on his head, no evidence of a wedding band.
“We can share my Bible, if you like.” Your mom muttered in your ear, knocking you out of your shock. You swallowed hard and blinked down at her book, desperately trying to find words that matched what he was talking about. Your mom pointed at a spot halfway down the page and you quietly thanked her as you tried to zone in.

Alright!! How do we feel about it? I've been grilling on this one for a couple days and I'm kinda proud of it! Let me know if you notice any glaring mistakes and I shall rectify them asap. Thank you guys, I hope y'all have a wonderful day!
can you write a cg!wendigoon x regressed!reader where they regress while watching a horror movie and need to be comforted?/nf
ੈ♡˳·˖✶ comfort ✶˖·˳♡ੈ
pairing - wendigoon x reader
authors note - I hope you get the reference at the end :p
tags - little!reader, cg!wendigoon, brief description of gore/horror, pet names, slight baby talk, anxiety
A flash of red and black lights up the dark living room you and Isaiah are in, you jolt at the sudden jump-scare and curl in closer to Isaiah’s chest. The movie’s not even halfway over and has only been getting more and more gory, between brutal kills and morphing scenes of the main monster shedding its skin in a disgusting way that makes even Isaiah grimace, it’s been rough.
This movie was only picked per Hunter’s suggestion, he warned how gruesome it was and that you in specific should be careful given your regression; you assured both men you’d be fine. If you could stay big, you’d be okay, you loved all the creepy and scary things the boys did. That was the problem though- if you could stay big- which apparently, you couldn’t.
Another jump-scare makes you flinch and hide your face in Isaiah’s shirt, his arm tightening around you before you hear the movie clicked pause.
“You okay little one?” He asks softly, you hesitantly shake your head. He’s already pulled out the nickname he uses while you’re regressed so he must’ve picked up on your drop in headspace.
“The movie too much?” Carefully Isaiah pulls you up onto his lap, letting you lay your head on his shoulder as his hand starts to rub up and down your back.
“S’scarier than I thought it’d be.” The storyline isn’t even that interesting it’s just a lot of body horror that feels far too much for your little side.
“We can go upstairs and put something else on.” There’s not another word before Isaiah hefts you up to his hip and abandons the movie all together to get you both up to your shared bedroom.
Thankfully the Tv is still left on from earlier on in the day, a rerun of Gravity Falls playing lowly as Isaiah sets you down on the bed. There’s a look in his eye that you know means he’s overthinking things, probably beating himself up for allowing you to watch the movie in the first place.
“Wait!” Your hand grabs hold of Isaiah’s wrist before he can walk away from the bed. A sudden burst of anxiety fills your chest at the idea of being left alone right now, thankfully your caregiver picks up on your distress instantly and sits beside you with a furrow of worry in his brow.
“What is it hun?” The darkness outside catches your eye from the window behind Isaiah’s shoulder and only furthers your fear.
“Wh- what if the monsters come get me?” You ask meekly.
“Oh honey, no monsters will ever come get you while I’m here, I’ll always protect you. I was just going to grab your stuffie from downstairs.” Oh that’s right, so caught up in getting out of that living room and you completely forgot that you even brought your favorite plush downstairs with you in the first place.
“They’re all alone down there!” A small smile spreads over Isaiah’s face, happy to see your scared expression melt away so quickly.
“Do you want to come rescue them with me?” After a second of debating with yourself, you nod, allowing Isaiah to scoop you back up into his arms so you both can rush downstairs.
It’s an extremely short trip that you giggle your way through as Isaiah makes jokes about dramatically checking behind the corners of the rooms and snatching your plush from above behind the couch as fast as he can. It lets you sink into the comforted feeling of having Isaiah close and allowing your headspace to come out stronger.
“Thanks for saving them.” You grin at Isaiah and he nods extremely seriously, patting the stuffies head before draping a blanket around your shoulders.
“Of course, couldn’t leave them down there all vulnerable could I?” His hands move to pull the blanket so you’re wrapped up tight and he can hold you against his chest like you were on the couch. A much more enjoyable position when you’re not hiding in fear.
“…You promise the monsters won’t get us?” One of his hands reaches to cup your jaw, gently rubbing his thumb across your cheek Isaiah shakes his head.
“Never. You will always be safe with me, supernatural creatures or not.” You nod along before stifling a smile.
“The creature’s acting as my caregiver, isn’t he?” A laugh bubbles out of Isaiah at your joke and you both quickly dissolve into jokes and laughs, horror movie forgotten.
a/n:It's 04;00a.m and @poweredbyghostadventures finally convinced me to post this eldritch horror.I was feeling shity so I wrote this. It’s short, I tried something new, and I don’t know if a particularly like it or not.You guys know the drill: If Mister Goon ever says he is uncomfortable with this, it will be taken down immediately. No real names used, but I did call him “Mr.Goon” at least once.

Fluffy snow covers the pavement, shops are decorated with green and red ornaments and the faint "All I want for Christmas is you" can be heard from inside most of them. It's almost like a switch was flipped, you blinked and Halloween was gone to give space for Christmas time.
However, you can't seem to focus on the beauty of the season, eyes glistening and oversensitive. Your head is pounding, the slight of sounds makes you jump in place. The fact that you are walking through the sidewalk, with the horn sounds coming out of the blue and loud conversations passing by you, makes the usually calm walk back home a living nightmare. Tired and cold, you count your steps as you walk and try to warm your hands. You were in such a rush to leave this morning that you forgot your gloves and beanie over your bed, in one of the coldest days of December.
Seeing your house in the distance, you walk faster but carefully as to not fall into the snow. You only sigh in relief once you reach the front porch, pulling your keys and entering the house. Locking the door, you take off your shoes and coat, putting on your fluffy warm slippers and hanging the coat in the coat hanger. It's still cold inside the house, but it's more bearable. Slowly, feeling your muscles tired from the cold, you begin making your way upstairs to leave your things in your room and take some painkillers from the bathroom.
You know you should tell your dad that you arrived safely, to say hi at least. But you also know that he must be working, you can hear the faint laughing and talking from his office as you pass it by. Throwing your things in your bed with a louder sound then you would prefer, you quickly take the meds from the bathroom and wonder if you should go downstairs again to get a glass of water or if you should take them without it. So caught up in your own mind, you didn’t see your dad opening the office's door and walking through it, seeing you standing inside the bathroom with a pill in your palm and looking at the floor without focus.
-Kiddo? What's wrong?
You jump in your place, surprised.
Propping himself against the door frame, your dad’s black eyes look at you, thick black brows frowning together in worry, his mouth in a thin line, black beard well trimmed and black hair, combed back away from his face. Instead of his usual Hawaiian shirts is a comfortable black sweater, the hood a bit crumbled up from being sited for so long.
-Hey, there...- Your voice sounds hoarse, and you curse mentally.- Just a little headache, I’ll be fine.
-You don’t look fine for me, kid.- Mr.Goon closes his office door behind himself.- come on, let’s get sometin’ in your stomach first, and some water for your pills.
-Dad, you don’t have to...
-I know, I want to.-He smiles warmly at you.- Come on.
Gently, he nudges you downstairs again and warms up some leftover soup. He gives you a scolding look when you told him that you forgot your gloves and beanie. The kitchen is warm and peaceful after that as you and your dad share a silently comfortable meal, and you had to fight a bit, so he would let you help with the dishes. Taking your medication under his watchful gaze, you both walk into the living room. He throws a blanket over the sofa and cuddles you close, hand over your forehead to check your temperature before sighing in relief, wondering what to do now.
-Did I ever told you this story, that my grandfather told me about the lake near his house?- he asks, knowing you probably did.- It was late September, I think, when...
And as your dad goes on with the story, your eyes begin to slowly close. It makes you remember of when you were young, and he would tell you stories by the campfire, or during long car trips. You always love to hear the stories your dad tells, and right now you couldn’t fell more safe than in his arms.
Summary: long distance relationship with Isaiah <3 and what happens when you two are together or not.
Warnings? Nope! isaiah being a simp. the reader doesn’t live close to Tennessee, maybe out of the US. And the reader doesn't use social media much.
This took over a month to write I am so sorry. I TRIED TO MAKE IT LONGER BUT IT DIDN’T WORK!
this and this song helped 🥺
1.6k words-
Nothing makes a room feel emptier than wanting someone in it.
In 2018, a survey found that 60% of long-distance relationships last. Academic researchers report that 37% of long-distance couples break up within 3 months of becoming geographically close. Couples are just as likely to break up during the distance phase as they are after the distance ends.
Because that wasn't the current situation for you and Isaiah, but things were complicated considering that a significant distance was between you and different time schedules. Hundreds of miles away from each other just makes it awkward at times, but it is always worth it in the end when you do finally get to talk to each other. And this mainly took place when either of you didn't have much to do, either evenings, or mornings, like if you have to get up to work early, and if he has been up before doing a video or something. Sometimes when you two talk on the phone, it is in the evening for one of you, which means someone, or both of you, accidentally falling asleep, still on call.
It ends if someone wakes up before the other and hangs up, or, someone's phone dies.
Either way, it wasn't entirely practical.
You both find it very boring at times. Mainly because it isn't easy just going to see each other, that isn't how it works. I feel like I'm repeating myself. Anyway. Umm.
Oh!
But when you two do talk, it is always the best part of the day. Any and every conversation always consists of talking about movies, watching movies over Discord, anything interesting that may have happened locally or online between talks, and, of course, how you both miss each other. Because I am not lying when I say it is true. That man is a literal simp for you. Yes, simp. And no not a jar of mayonnaise going up an escalator. Like you have no idea how much he just wants to hug you. And you wanna hug him too. Same.
If you live in the US:
It's either a plane ride or a long road trip for you to go and see him. If you don't like plane rides, understandable, you take a road trip. Isaiah doesn't like plane rides either.
If you took a plane to see him, you could watch his videos to pass the time, and listen to podcasts he's been in, that is if you're driving too.
But you don’t call each other on the plane rides, definitely on the car rides though, mainly because you don’t want anyone to hear what you’re saying. One, it’s a private conversation, and two, people shouldn’t be nosey. And you don’t want to disturb the peace.
Which is fair.
But if he is coming to you, definitely a road trip. As I said, he hates plane rides. Which definitely contains phone calls. Neither of you can contain your excitement. He is a child at heart. He knows you know that. And you like it. You find it sweet.
BUT. for if you don’t live in the US:
Even if he hates plane rides, he will happily sacrifice himself for the journey. Only if it means he sees you again. And when you meet by the gate, or wherever people meet, he is ready to catch you as you run towards him. Like- *gently holds*
This man is precious✨
You bring him something as a congratulations for surviving the trip. Which he is always grateful for. He is grateful for you. You let him stay at your place, of course. Which is sweet too.
But if it was the other way round, and you visit him, he gives you your favourite flowers when you both finally meet 🥺👉👈
Hugs too. Because he’s a hugger, in my opinion. Have I said I wanna hug him already?
Mf loves you and would do anything for you. Preach.
Speaking of podcasts he’s been in. If he is the only guest there, he would be asked about his career on YouTube etc, and he would be asked about you. As it is known on his channel that you do not live locally, and people are understanding if they see that he misses you. It isn’t easy living across the country or world. But while talking about you, he would be all sweet about it. A little sad at times, because.. you know.
You + him + the big space between you both = big sadness.
I can somehow see Charlie asking him this on The Official Podcast, but, again, seeing as they know about you both and the distance between you, some would be curious about how your future would plan out. Because you ask guests on podcasts all sorts of questions, depending on the context, but if Charlie asked Isaiah if he ever planned on asking you a certain question. Ahem. Isaiah would respond with,
"At some point in the future, yes. It would be better to ask when they're closer."
Now that... that left some people thinking. Thinking ahead of the guy that would actually be asking it, y'all need to simmer down. But to you, it would legitimately be a surprise as you are someone who doesn't use social media as much as others would, therefore others would not be able to tag you to tell you.
And, and, and on the said podcast, Isaiah would mention how you both met. Even if it was in the most generic way, he would tell it how it was. And if it was awkward, better to tell it as it was rather than say it how you wish it was. The other hosts would lightheartedly joke about it throughout the rest of the podcast, but Isaiah would know it's a joke, keeping the good vibes throughout.
Like he could be asked how you both maintain it so well and what you can both do together even if you're nowhere near each other in the country or world. And as cliché it could sound, apart from calling each other every other night, when neither of you has much to do, you both play an online game.
A co-op one.
And that game was Spiritfarer. You take over a boat in the game to ferry spirits to the afterlife. You could play as Stella (who is a female by the way) or Daffodil, Stella's cat (male). But for story purposes, I will say that they are both gender-neutral so you can pick who you would want to play as. You both build a boat to explore the world, then befriend and care for spirits before finally releasing them into the afterlife. You can farm, fish and harvest your way across mystical seas. As if you both were living together in the first place. It is a sad game at times but also a down-to-earth one because just remember who you're playing it with.
If playing on stream, it would be a quiet one, with no donations, no loud noises, just peace for the two of you and for those watching. If it is a late-night game session for either of you, it would be on a night when you don't have to do much the next day. If some time passed while playing and it was mostly silence coming from you two, viewers new and old would most definitely know only good vibes reside there.
It can only bring you both closer, even if you have to say goodbye to the friends you both made along the way.
ENUF SAD. tell me why writing about angst is a strength for me
Back to when you two are together; it is so worth it.
Because it consists of you two either staying in or going out shopping or just general sightseeing. If you go out, you would hold each other's bags of things that you bought. Even if they were light. And expect him to buy you lunch, because I said so! 👹 He could buy you small little trinkets too.
Speaking of him buying you things! When his little Wendidude plushes and figurine came out, there is a 100% chance of him sending you one of each, think of it as three smaller versions of him are with you while the actual version isn’t. And I say it’s a lie if one, if not both plushes sat on your bed in the day. And you definitely sleep with them. Don’t lie to me! While his lil Youtooz figure is on your bedside. (I’m upset I didn’t have a change to but any)
And if inside at home, expect movies too.
With some snackies too!
Snuggles.
And if you have any pets, like a cat or dog, they will most definitely join in. Because it would be great. He definitely sees them as his own in a way, like a child maybe? You could stay there all day but I am afraid that won’t be possible because other things would have to be done. I guess.
And watching videos too! Even if they are spooky, funny, or just generally lighthearted.
Other than that-
If one’s wanted to do things without the use of technology, you play games. Because everyone has a game or two stashed in their house somewhere.
Expect both of you to get the slightest bit of competitive. In a playful way of course.
Which may include some mutual teasing 👁️👁️
No funky shit happens after, the man’s a Christian
Maybe a kiss or so
…
Definitely makes a video at some point during your stay. And definitely let’s the world know you’re his. Subtly. Cheek kisses and all that🥺
People find it cute.
He does too. He just finds you cute because yes and you can’t change my mind.
(Y/N)goon much? 🤨
You got yourself a good one.
But remember when I said he was asked a certain question and he answered with "At some point in the future, yes. It would be better to ask when they're closer”?
(song linked^^ feel free to listen to it. linked because of the same title)

FELLOW WENDIGOON SIMPS, DINNERS SERVED!
🗣️
also thanks, @koaluna for the help on the title. because I don't know how it was that hard for me. Anyway-
1.6k words-
Cold. It was cold. And it was too much for your liking.
Colder than it should ever be in Tennessee, on record, the most it has ever snowed was as much as 26 inches. At the moment, it wasn't as bad as that. But it was a lot, let us just say that. It was not recommended to go outside as you could easily slip, fall and hurt yourself. Well, you were Okay with that as you stayed indoors in the warmth with your beloved, Isaiah. He was in his recording room finishing a video whilst neither of you didn't have much to do for a little while, so that's a way to pass the time.
You had to leave the house for a few seconds and it felt like your whole body was encased in ice you were that cold. So as soon as you closed the door behind you, you immediately went to put more layers on, or perhaps change into warmer clothes. You always thought how Isaiah wasn't bothered by the cold at times seeing as how he always wore colourful, and sort of Hawaiian dad-like shirts. But the room he recorded in was always the best in the house temperature-wise, it was always the best no matter the weather. Whereas you were the opposite, as you weren't from the USA, so you were not built to withstand these temperatures and weather behaviours, and your home country was cold from time to time. But it was never usually this bad though.
But sometimes, wearing things your size wasn't always the best. To you, it felt like that clothing bigger than your actual size was better (same). Because you could just curl up in it. So let's just say that you found a hoodie that wasn't yours and put it on and proceeded to curl up in it in the living room on the sofa that had most, if not all, blankets on it. Soon becoming acclimatised to your surroundings, you had dozed off.
About an hour or so passed and you were at the stage between asleep and awake, you heard faint footsteps nearby in another room before they quietly walked over to where you were, still curled up, feet under a blanket as they were still cold. Then you heard someone, that someone being Isaiah, say something.
"You look really cute in that sweater."
He would say other sweet things like that to you from time to time, even if you are awake or not.
Needless to say, you tried not to react, such as smile, too much to the point that he knew you were awake. You did well as you then felt him gently kiss the top of your head. You loved his simple acts of affection. Small yet they meant a lot to you, and you could not be happier.
Hours, well... a few days later, not much changed on the outside. It was currently snowing, nothing too blizzard-like, but something like a fairytale, it was light and fair. Still cold though, if you were to go outside, it was recommended to be careful and take caution.
You understood that memo but mother nature didn't let you act on the said memo. Well, you see, you went outside to take the trash outside, and well you slipped on the path as a patch of snow had turned into ice. Resulting in you slipping, trying to save yourself but that didn't work as one of your feet accidentally went one way, whereas you went the other. And ouch. You made your way inside somehow and soon found yourself in the living room on the sofa with your foot on a footrest. Not how you expected your day to go. But anyway.
And so Isaiah convinced you to just let him help you get on with your life so that you can quickly get on the road to recovery. Which was interesting. Mainly because you both had your own work to do, and you both had to juggle both of your careers. Luckily, they were easy to do at home, so it was not a problem.
Ahem.
So
First off, he is really sweet when it comes to helping you.
He would occasionally take a break from recording to come to ask if you need anything or need help getting somewhere, your room or the bathroom for example.
You said no every time, even if you did need it because you did not want to disturb him every time you needed something. You didn't find it fair.
He didn’t mind. Even if you did.
But what didn’t help is his weird recording times. It really messes with your body clock.
He would go on for hours and end up working into the early hours of the next day.
Or
He would get up at stupidly early hours of the day and proceed to record until the late morning. Which really isn't good for any person's health.
You tried to break that cycle and, surprisingly, it worked for a while. Even if you did have to physically pull yourself out of bed, or from where you were, to pull him away for a while.
That way he could gather his thoughts and not have his mind so strained for thinking about a timeline or whatever for so long. You do notice a change. A good change. Even if he does sleep for a few hours. As long as you know he is rested.
The sweetest person on Earth. REAL😳
some mf put a ring on it pls, or i will
With work schedules and accidentally hurting yourself aside, there was another thing your beloved suggested. Seeing that he is, in reality, a kid at heart, and to brace for the potential future of this weather, he decided to make a fort.
Yes, you read that right!
A pillow fort.
Because you never know that the power could go out and you need to have a place to keep warm. It made him happy let's say, mainly because he gets to do something he likes with you around. And you both get to be close. With both of you busy with your respective jobs, you don't often get the chance to do something like that, especially in circumstances like this. And now was the only time, for the slight foreseeable future, that this could happen.
And the fact that he made hot chocolate for you two just made you realise more of how sweet he is. He didn't forget your favourite toppings too. How could he not? ;)
Then there were movies on his laptop you both watched. By this time, you two both acted as if the power had gone off, which it hadn't, you just both liked doing this as it wasn't anything you had done in a long time. Perhaps since you were both kids? Both of you enjoyed this time together anyway, if anything, this weather brought you two more together. Say it's cliché if you must, but it's true.
Then as the day began to slowly come to a close, with you both watching movies of course, you had, unknowingly, fallen asleep on the pillow in your beloved's lap, hugging the one you had too. Which he didn't mind, he found it quite sweet actually. He gently played with your hair too, which always made you tired. But it was a subconscious act of his that it does not look like he would give up easily. And even if you both weren't snowed in, he would happily carry you to bed, just like now.
If you were already asleep for example, he would give you a light kiss on the forehead. No, if or buts nor coconuts, what I say goes. Ahem. But he still would do that anyway, because he would just be like that.
Okay, things in general about you both-
One word about him: simp.
Lowkey adores you.
Occasionally mentions your name in passing in a video or two. And as well as a few podcasts he’s been in too. And when he does, he's all sweet about it like jsbdjsnbdghesjwkamsndbhusi-
And on live streams, especially on creepy content like weird games and things such as the Mandela Catalogue, would laugh a little when you get scared. Then if it happens too much, he wouldn’t find that funny. He’ll probably take a break.
To make sure you’re Okay ofc😌
You know how some of his subscribers call him dad? Yeah well…
They call you (mum/other dad) or some other nice name
I don't know about you, but that’s fucking cute!
And outside in the snow that’s actually easier to walk through…
Snowball fights, duh
You would throw one at him while he’s making one himself, his back turned to you
Hits him on the back of his head and part goes down his neck
I don’t know about screaming, but he yelps instead...
And you soon got the same as revenge. And he laughed.
And so that triggered a definite snowball fight
Also, one of you would eventually slip, and continue to slip as you try and catch yourself. Like this. But without the sound effects of course-
Snow angels too✨
Side by side of course
Best snow day ever!
And
When making said snow angels, it starts to snow again! Not too heavily this time.
And you know what that calls for? More hot chocolate with the added toppings.
All in all, Isaiah is, like, the best person ever.
And the best boyfriend ever🤭
He would do anything for you.
Where can I get one?
100/10 would most definitely recommend it.
when is he doing more merch again pls i need one
gonna do more someday. but seeing as this one was a little harder to get to this many words, it’ll take longer for me to think. so for now,
sort of fluffy… maybe a twinge of angst here and there.

Summary: Being separated from your friends while on a camping trip in the woods is scary enough, but how different would that fear be if one was to come face to face with a creature people never thought would ever exist?
Warnings? Occasional bad words? (i don't remember, I write the summary and warnings before the actual thing). And I mention his first name more than once, that's a recurring thing in these. you are the wendigo.
This is a great song to write with, it gets the brain going, especially on tense and fast-paced parts.
and this is more of a chill vibe for everything else.
also, upon writing this, I researched what a wendigo sounds like so I can include it in this and- holy sh*t- no thank you-!
Started writing on January 11th 2023, but posted when he uploaded next... i know... a while.
2.6k words-
According to most Algonquian oral traditions, a windigo is a cannibalistic monster that preys on the weak and socially disconnected.
In most versions of the legend, a human becomes a windigo after a person's spirit is corrupted by greed or weakened by extreme conditions, such as hunger and cold. In other legends, humans become windigos when possessed by a prowling spirit during a moment of weakness.
There are different versions of the word “windigo,” and there are many variations on the creature’s appearance and powers. Sometimes, windigos are described as exceptionally thin, with the skull and skeleton pushing through their ash-coloured, mummy-like skin. Other stories describe the windigo as a well-fleshed giant that gets proportionately larger the more it eats. According to other legends, the windigo has pointed or animal-like ears with antlers or horns sprouting on its head. A windigo’s eyes have been described as sunken or glowing like hot coals. Sharp and pointy teeth are characterised to tear through all sorts of materials...
It was... a curse to some. But for you,... it was... natural.
Walking on the well-worn-down desired path in the woods that many people have used with his friends, Isaiah looked around at the scenery near and far. He loved being out in the wilderness, it lets the body and mind take a break from the clutter of society, and it felt rewarding and deserving. There was a point in the walk where they were all quiet for a little while to just take in the surroundings, the only sounds were the sounds of shoes and leaves from on the beaten path, coats rubbing against themselves as their arms moved while walking and the birds in the surrounding trees. Perfect. The weather was perfect also, even if the mud was a little soft from a few days before their initial arrival, but it got better from there, as the sun rays were breaking through the branches high above.
And after a few pits stops throughout the day and hours later, they arrived at their next stop where they would spend their final night in the woods. Not saying that they're gonna die, just saying that they're gonna go home the next day. Even though that day it had been warm, the temperature can change drastically at night, so seeing as there were four people in total, two stayed at the campsite, and two went together to collect more firewood as the fire was only small for now. And they needed more. So Isaiah and one of his friends volunteered to go, luckily they still had some daylight to work with, but they bought their torches just in case at before they know it, the light would be gone.
Sometime later, they both gathered enough wood to return to camp, which was easily seen in the distance. Could you be sure to keep that in mind? Walking back, Isaiah thought that he must have daydreamed for a minute or so, because one second he was walking back to camp, and the next he realised that he was nowhere near the camp. Looking around, he thought that he must have walked further than he originally thought. But even if that was the case, one of his friends must have stopped him from walking into the dark woods ahead, right? Right? He looked up at the sky, it was the same as before, only that it was a little darker. So, understandably, he was confused as to where he travelled to in such a short amount of time, that short the sky didn't change must. He knew he wasn't dreaming.
Luckily, he came prepared. He brought a compass to retrace his steps. Albeit dark now, the night vision goggles were a great help. But it didn't feel... cold. It didn't feel the temperature it would be at night time, it felt normal like in the daytime. ...even if it wasn't daytime now. But he was understandably confused. How could his friends and the camp be right there, in one second, and then... not there the next?
But seeing as he was now alone somehow. This made him think. He thought of who or what else could be in the same area of woods with him. Black bears? Wild Hogs? Red Foxes? All of them have a chance of being near.
Then out of nowhere, he heard this high-pitched wailing, it echoed all around him, bouncing off everything, and it sounded as if something was... in pain, and he thought about going to see if he could help. But he had second thoughts as he didn't know what it was and the thought was immediately cast aside when he heard some distant growling come from the same direction. Fear stricken, the best option in this situation to do was to hide, and so he did, in a hollowed-out fallen tree. Heavy breathing. Sweaty palms. Wild eyes and a busy mind. The fear was paralyzing. Judging from the sounds that this... thing made, he instantly knew that this thing was not at all human. Not at all. But he just didn't know what it was. Was he asleep and he was dreaming this and he just wasn't aware of this? He doesn't know. Because he would remember being in the tent before falling asleep.
He could defend himself, no doubt about that. He still had his gun. But he was scared to even make his presence known at all. This thing began to come closer, he looked through a hole in the bark, and what he saw was... like a dream. He never thought that he would EVER be able to see what he is seeing right now. It was so tall, like a tree, like a dead tree to be more specific. Its bones pushed out against its skin, its complexion the ash-grey of death, and its eyes pushed back deep into their sockets. Like the living embodiment of death itself.
It was an actual wendigo.
And he couldn't be more fascinated yet terrified.
He was bewitched.
Its tall, lanky legs were all he could see as it walked past him, for it to be able to detect him, he had to be moving. And its tactic to make things move, thus scaring it, was to let out its painful, whale-like screech that rang out in every direction. Luckily for Isaiah, he didn't move, as he was currently fascinated, but trying to keep himself calm to prevent him from doing such things as running away. That would make him known to the creature and ultimately put his life at risk.
Even though he had to get away somehow. He did not want to risk getting more lost than he already is, he wanted to get back to the camp... wherever that may be. And with what felt like an eternity to him later, with the wendigo a distance away, he started to make his way back to the campsite in question, he thought that everything would seem familiar eventually as they passed it earlier in the day.
Okay enough of me rambling;-;
For the small amount of time that they were both in close proximity, the wendigo,… in other words, you, had a feeling that someone else was near, but was not so sure. Even if your senses are heightened, like heightened senses of smells. How you weren't able to detect him that way was sort of questionable.
But it being dark, and not the ideal temperature, Isaiah was tired, he just wanted to rest, as anyone would want when they've had a weirdly scary experience. The body lacking the sleep it needed did not help the basic functions, such as shivers from temperature, which was the body trying to keep itself warm and keep awake, sort to speak.
Finding shelter was the most important thing needed in this situation, even if it was a fallen tree, he made his move towards it when you were not around. The layering of clothing made it more bearable, as he was dressed to withstand the weather, and even if primal instincts were to light a fire, he could still be putting himself at risk as the fire would be seen as the movement by you, which would lure you. Even if it makes living easier.
At some point in the middle of the night, he was woken by the sound of footsteps walking nearby, crushing the leaves and fallen sticks/branches nearby. And these footsteps sounded familiar, not human as they did not sound human. Is it back? He thought, quickly sitting up and grabbing his water flask, as it felt like his mouth was as dry as the decaying tree he was currently residing under for the night. Quietly twisting the cap off the flask before drinking a few much-needed mouthfuls, he was correct, it had come back.
And even if legend does state that it has an undying hunger that would drive it to eat anything that it senses moving, it wouldn't go by him. Even if he did accidentally make movement by dropping the lid of his flask onto the shrubs beside him, thus creating a quiet rustling sound, the head of the beast spun round to look in the direction, facing directly at Isaiah.
Its hearing was impeccable, remember?
Like last time, heavy breathing. Sweaty palms. Wild eyes and a busy mind. The fear was paralyzing. Only that his heart wasn't raising so fast. It elevated a little but nothing major. There was a sound coming from the creature, it was much quieter than last time, the echoing whale-like sounds, only softer. Less brash. As if it didn't want to scare away whatever was around it or in its path. That being Isaiah.
These forever blood-seeking instincts that were programmed into you had... calmed down. For the time being, at least. You had not ripped him up to shreds the second your senses were laid upon him.
More soft sounds came from the creature as it slowly walked towards the area he was currently residing in, its steps were heavy, yet soft. As if it didn't want to be seen as careless, even if they are by nature. The growling coming from it was not so harsh as it would be if, in its hostile state, it was almost... curious? By the time it was where Isaiah was hiding, he held his breath as you the beast leaned down to inspect the area. And it found something. Him.
He glanced at it. He didn't want to make eye contact for fear that it would enrage this... thing that could do catastrophic things, causing it to do other unexplainable things, such as hurt him, or worse. Even if he had glanced at it up close, he could see every single detail of its scratched, cracked and worn face, every single marking on it has its own little story, be it good or bad. It had been through a lot. They both had. Especially in the past few hours. Like now. Because in the last few seconds, it had made its way even closer to Isaiah. So close that he could touch you it.
He does not know what made him do it, but he did it. He touched your its head. Expecting the feeling to be rough, it was rough, but also smooth in some areas where let's face it, you had to get into some tricky areas to reach certain things, resulting in your head rubbing against other textured surfaces, but it isn't like you were bothered by it at all. You were both very surprised at this sudden turn of events.
Yet still curious. Even if this situation does seem kind of familiar. Both of you expected it to not go so well, but it was the exact opposite, it went really well. His touch was soft and gentle, which even he did not expect. No one did.
What stayed at the front of his mind is what a wendigos behaviour should be like, which is seen as the embodiment of gluttony, greed, and excess: never satisfied after killing and consuming one person, and constantly searching for new victims. But you, you weren't doing those things now. Yes, you would be doing it when he isn't around, but now, you were mutual with him. As if you were getting along. Which he found... a little suspicious to say the least. But with another glimpse into your dead-like eyes, he found out it was genuine. You weren't so hostile.
It felt like you two were familiar with each other, and had been since, what felt like, forever. It was a bewitching moment.
But, as usual, all good things must come to an end.
Your instincts kicked in again, and you growled, but not at him, despite the amount of fear you had just injected into him in such a short time. You screeched, he threw his hands onto the sides of his head, pressing his ears to block out the piercing sound, but with wild eyes, he watched whatever you were doing. Because if your natural behavioural instincts had indeed kicked in again, he doesn't want himself to be caught with his guard down.
Screeching into the distance, at something, you ran fast into the deep forest. The torch beside Isaiah flickered before cutting out for a few seconds, coming back on again after.
He was prepared to fight back. He didn't have to. It is rare to leave a wendigo unscathed. He was unscathed, he beat the odds.
What just happened? Was the only thing that went through his mind, Am I alive? Indeed he was alive and unscathed. But he was cold and tired. He wanted to go home. He wanted to see other people again.
After some time of gathering his thoughts, and putting them into line, he gathered his stuff, and his breath, and began to make his way back into the direction he remembered the camp to be. And, thankfully, he saw an orange glow in the distance.
Fire. From a campfire.
Getting closer, it was becoming obvious that his friends had noticed that he had disappeared, and later he would find out that he was gone for hours. And that panicked his friends, they were so close to calling the forest rangers. They had been calling his name for what felt like forever.
And when he walked back to camp, his friends were so relieved that they could potentially yell at him and cry for wandering off, but he had no idea how to explain what happened, he was cold and tired, yet still slightly disconnected from reality. All they knew is that he had been through something rough, as they saw the state he was in, and now he was safe.
Something so... unnaturally pleasant that happened was bound to stay in his mind forever and would become a great story to tell others. ...that would be when he has gotten over it.
He knew that this would never happen again, which he was grateful for, yet... sad. Because he knew that he would never see you again, and he was thankful that you never did any harm to him, you were just curious. But at home, in his room where you can see all sorts of wendigo-related memorabilia in his videos, one of them secretly symbolised you. Viewers would spot the new figure, but they would never truly know the story behind it, only Isaiah.

Summary: he hates the ocean, but.. what happens if he meets you? who.. is a resident of the ocean? (Why I thought of this is beyond me)

THIS THING DISAPPEARED FROM MY DRAFTS FOR A WHILE IT SCARED ME I THOUGHT I DELETED IT OR I POSTED IT ON ACCIDENT WHEN IT WASN’T FINISHED-!
1.5k words-
He has said over and over again in his videos that he absolutely hates the ocean. His hatred was an understatement, if you ever asked him what one of his number one fears was. If that makes sense at all. He has made it very known to his audience about his fear, and they support him for it.
He knows not to push himself.
In his video where he transitioned to him at the ocean, you could actively see the existential dread and uncertainty in his eyes, the look that he does not want to be there. Every little sudden unfamiliar movement nearby or further away, he's skittish. He jumps easily.
He knows not to push himself.
Unlike now.
He found himself at the oceans edge, he wanted to somehow conquer his fear. But it was too much. It overwhelmed him. It restricted him. Made his palms sweaty. His breath laboured. Thinking about what is in the massive body of water and how deep and unknown it is, it unsteadied him. Even the thought of that something could be nearby him. Watching his every move.
The sudden feeling of the cold water hitting his feet scared him. It was unnerving. He was unnerved. The wind blew the cold breeze into his face, it made him shiver. Even if he did have more than one layer on. His fear made him shake. Cold and fear was not a good mix at all.
He decided to take a walk, with a light, of course, to calm himself down as well as warm himself up. He sighed just before he heard something in the water. He aimed his light in the direction he heard it, yet he walked back up the sand to keep away as if something was coming for him. He heard the water lapping again, this scared him more, he moved back so sudden he fell back, gasping for breath as his fall took the air out of his lungs, he kicked his feet to move himself back.
He had enough. He got up and quickly dusted himself off as he walked back up to the top of the beach. He could not handle the cold and fear any longer. He wanted to go home. Away.
He sat in the car with the heating on. His hands in front of the air vent which was warming up. He took some shaky deep breaths, eventually becoming more steady and collected. He was sort of curious to know what made him scared. But also did not want to know, because it could be a shark, or worse, whatever that 'worse' thing could be. He looked out the window, back at the ocean. Only to see nothing but darkness, hearing the waves crashing in the background. Shuddering at the thought, he shook his head and started to make his way back to where he was staying for a while. Away from the water. Away from the fear.
He would not go back to that place. Especially that area. It left him wondering. He wondered what it was. He had to distract himself, think about something else.
So what is better than thinking about your greatest fears?
Researching them! Because that's what he did. He researched what it could have been, even if it kept coming back as reasonable answers, like normal sea life. He kept thinking out the box. If it was anything mythical he's researched in the past, it's very unlikely it's true. Because mythical creatures don't exist, right?
Right?
Well we don't know. The ocean has barely been explored.
That is what he kept thinking of. It made his mind wander.
He eventually fell asleep on his phone while looking at research. Lets just say that he's getting the very much needed rest from today.
A few days later, one morning, he felt... relaxed yet... decent or Okay. As if what happened a few days ago was some sort of a dream. But he didn't dream it. It felt like a thing of the past for him. Except that he had no energy to even get out of bed this morning, he looked for his phone. He fell asleep with it again. It was on the floor. He tried to turn it on. Dead battery. Sighing he sat up and put it on charge.
That day he decided that he would continue with working on his fear. But in the daytime where he could actually see clearly what was around him.
And boy would today be a day he would remember.
Because it was odd that when he got to the ocean-side, barely anyone was there. He sat on some rocks by the water watching the distant sea. The tide was out so that it didn't work him up. Good.
Everything was Okay in his mind. Then the water started to lap again. He gulped. Then came some noises. His nerves came back.
Then he saw something break the waters surface. Scales. They were shiny.
Pretty.
Then he saw the end.. of a tail? Shaking his head, he tried to think of a rational explanation. 'A fish? Stuck in shallow waters? Can't be' he thought to himself. He tried to convince himself that was the case before- 'hair??' He wasn't even in the sea himself and he felt like he was drowning.
Never mind himself for the moment, he was convinced someone was drowning besides himself. And his instincts was to jump in and help. Despite his fear, a human life was more important. Especially if said life is in danger.
Fear aside, he summoned all his bravery and courage to actually try and help this supposed person. Yet his vision was obscured by bubbles and all of that. The shimmer of the light reflected on the scales of whatever dashed by him. Whatever it was, it was not comfortable with him nearby. And much to his surprise, he went deeper than he ever thought.
To the point that he had to try and keep himself by the surface.
Then he saw the thing that spooked him for days, but yet caught his eye.
You.
He was baffled,.. yet intrigued. Like it happened all in slow motion.
You looked gentle with the eye contact you two briefly held, but he knew how unpredictable the ocean is he doesn't know your real strength and what you could potentially do to him.
But the peace and tranquility of this moment was soon shattered by the fact that he remembered that he wasn't like you, you could breath underwater, he couldn't. And once that reality soon set in, he panicked while trying to get back to the surface. And one of the rules about being underwater, especially in the ocean, is to not panic.
Which is what he did.
Your gentle side recognised this and instincts kicked in, you had to help him. You quickly swam over to him and grabbed his arm and pulled, you had never been up this close to the surface so you weren't so sure about helping him seeing as he is from unknown territory for you. Pushing him up towards the surface, he soon went through it. You heard muffled coughs and gasps come from the stranger as the coast approached.
Once he was there and gathering himself and his energy, he looked around to get familiar with his surroundings once again. Looking at the water, all he saw the the bridge of your nose and up. Your eyes piercing his soul. You would not allow yourself to be seen by other humans. But let alone one already. You saw it as a bad omen. To your kind and them.
No words were exchanged between you two the whole time. Mainly because you found yourself fascinated by him and how.. he works, as you had already gathered that he could not breath under water like you could and was not the best of swimmers.
Today you learned so much more about him than you did the other day, when you accidentally scared him. Yet fear in others was a new emotion that you had witnessed and began to learn about. Did you feel bad for them? You.. didn't know. Did you show it? No.
Not caring about the way he currently looked, he walked over on his knees towards you slowly. You looked up at him, keeping your head positioned the same as before. You both maintained eye contact once again. He knew that mermaids were a myth. But he also knew that the oceans were barely explored, so that it was a possibility that they existed. And they do here.
He slowly held his hand out towards you. You moved you head out the water more, to the bottom of your neck. Hesitant, you would slowly extend your hand out to his. They ever so slightly touched.
He recalls your hands feeling soft and smooth from when you helped him out the water. As well as now. But then, he didn't know what caused it, but you immediately retracted your hand, you narrowed your eyes, pupils back to slits like a cat and dove back into the vast body of water. It splashing back at him.
The sudden splash of water made him realise,
he forgot about his fear of the ocean for a while.
And, to him, that felt...
good.
this was fun- may write more- you never know
ehe~ :)
