My school used to call them "research papers". I don't know if that's a universal English term though. If it's a big paper that's due at the end of the semester, it's called a "term paper".

I would assume it’ll stay on your phone but the rate and score buttons probably won’t work anymore.

That's true, I figure it just wouldn't update, and you wouldn't get any support on it if it was like buggy or whatever. I just am not familiar with how deleting an app off a server works
