thank you!! yeah it's pretty awesome this is my 4th year doing it and it's nice bc that's pretty much been my job during the year (i give lessons/teach/run a group of kids) but that's only once a week so it's taking that and spanning it across 5 days and getting a really ridiculous farmer's tan BUT IT'S ALWAYS A GR8 TIME I LOVE IT

this is a silly thing for someone to say. totes agree with you xy there are TONS of people in fandom with children, jobs, professional lives. I don't see why it makes a difference in you enjoying the thing you enjoy

lol if anything it makes me happy that I won't get ~boring~ as I get older. I was so happy when I realized a lot of the people I squee over on my dash are significantly older than me.
Yeah I guess when you get older you're supposed to stop liking books and stuff.

Good to know I'm not the only SPN-loving mom out there. My kid and I watched Doctor Who together last night and if she were older, I'd introduce her to SPN too!
He's actually pretty fannish, he's just more into video games than tv shows. We both watch The Walking Dead, and he's started on SPN, but he's only about partway through S4.
