in other news i've been thinking a lot about gracenona and originally my stance on them was they were possessive jealous exes. but after returning to my shuake hyperfixation i realized hey you can hate someone's guts and also be incredibly in love with them

so: despite their always being at each others throats, grace and wenona find some sort of companionship with each other. grace lacks many connections to the others after wolfgang's death, and so when wenona isn't with ulysses, they spend time bickering, as they horribly oppose each other on most topics.

but then grace starts to realize that she doesn't like how much time wenona spends with ulysses for some reason. and picking fights is in her nature, but as one of wenonas closest confidants, she isn't willing to give up her connections for grace. she didn't make it to ultimate entrepreneur by acting out emotionally.
