Synopsis: Too bad your research trip in the rainforest led you into the deadly, oh so hungry claws of a were-crocodile, a creature unsure if it should devour, or caress you.
Rule number one when visiting any kind of landscape with dangerous wildlife-- never stray from the path. At the very least, bring a partner to ensure that if you get lost, you aren’t alone.
Despite your seasoned experience in the rainforest, that rule slipped you. You were too trained on the fascinating, never-before-seen footprints on the ground to pay attention to where you were walking.
Your magnifying glass was held close to the damp, rich earth as you trudged through low-hanging foliage. Soon the earth turned to mud, mud to puddles, puddles to swamp. You were thigh-deep into dark green sludge before you noticed the dark yellow eyes boring into you.
You wouldn’t be able to get back on dry land without splashing, without alerting the creature that you were trying to bolt. It stalked from beneath the shadows of a kapok tree, seemingly gliding from beneath the water as only the top half of its head exposed itself.
The closer it got, the deeper you could see his rich flesh, the scaled, thickset tail resting on top of the water.
As soon as it pounced-- human-like arms covered in scales gripping at your thigh beneath the water-- you shrieked. You had gone face-to-face with man-killing creatures before, but not something like this. Something with the speed of a human and the body of a well-designed killer.
You refused to cry, terrified and trying to scrape at the creature to let you go. Nothing in your years of studying amphibians and reptiles had you ever seen such a specimen-- something inhuman, but not animal. It looked like it wanted to kill you, to bite into the soft flesh exposed beneath your ripped cargo pants.
Its jaw hovered over your throat, keeping you hidden in the thick, ginormous roots of a tree near his river. The water was slow moving, smelling of algae and impossible to see through. His tail, longer than your body, thicker than your legs put together, sat half in the water. His top half encaged you beneath the tree, shoved within the narrow roots that surrounded his hiding place.
Hot breath left your neck dripping in sweat, your heart pounding at the gentle closing, opening of its mouth-- his mouth. If you could even call it a ‘he.’ there was only the instincts of an animal behind his eyes. Despite the humanoid shape of his mouth, face, he was anything but. Rough skin full of abrasions turned into dark green scales, decorating his back into points and running down his spine, down to the thick start of his tail.
A guttural growl left from out his slack mouth whenever you shifted too much, holding onto the roots to stop from collapsing under his weight.
Its eyes locked on a ticklish, thick drop of sweat that slid down your throat. Elliptical pupils once trained on your shell-shocked expression were entranced by the sweet smell of your perspiration.
Within the sounds of squawking birds and little raindrops occasionally pelting large fauna, you could hear his tongue slip from out his mouth. It was wet, his chest grumbling as the lukewarm muscle twitched, hovering, landing on your bead of sweat.
His eyes rolled to the back of his head, grunting as a pair of powerful thighs encased around your hips, his lower half sinking onto your legs.
“Sw…eet…”
A raspy sigh came from his mouth, the tip of his tongue on your jugular delving into a fat lick. The entirety of his mouth ran along the sweat caked onto your neck, collecting every drop.
You watched as his tail slid, making small movements in the water. It didn’t quite wag like a dog, but it twitched at the end, swaying back and forth in the mud with a certain rhythm.
“Please don’t eat me…” You whispered, hearing splinters form in the tree behind you at how deep his claws dug in, how they slid down closer toward your head with each inhale of your scent.
His movements stopped, tongue laying flat right below your jaw. You lifted your head to try to escape from it, but that only proved to give the beast easier access, more skin for him to taste.
Slowly, his tongue retracted, swallowing thickly as your neck now dripped with saliva, a thick substance trailing to your collar. His scent, him, trailing from you.
Yellow eyes fluttered from looking into yours, back down to the pulse in your throat, the tender taste of what lies below your clothes, beneath your skin.
Meat. And so much of it.
He would be so satiated, even just from eating half of you; he hadn’t eaten something so filling in months, let alone anything at all for weeks.
Just a small bite, right? A taste, you could still be here with him, and he could have a piece of you, a delicious piece.
No, he knew he wouldn’t be able to stop himself. Not with how achingly starved he was, how easy of prey you were.
But his teeth still hovered, panting over your shoulder, tearing at your thin t-shirt. You had already sweat through it, much to his quivering pleasure.
Red marks tarnished your skin, drawing slow gaps of blood as the creature let out a stuttered bellow, tongue hesitating, jaw shaking. Right here. So close. So tasty. You’d have to be consumed sooner or later, so why not right now?
But there were other ways he wanted to consume you, to have you. A meal wouldn’t be enough.
But a taste… that’s all it would take.
The dark gold trained on your shoulder zeroed in. It wasn’t soft, it didn’t look like a human kind of craving. It was empty, save for desire. Nothing could stop him from his target, from the slow drip of red into your shirt, soon to be on his teeth.
You were given the chance to shriek once more as he lunged, cracked and sobbing before teeth even broke skin.
The breath in your throat grew stuck once you heard him snap open his jaw, razors ripping into your flesh without kindness, without patience.
He hoped the gentle swirl of his tongue eased your pain through his chewing, a bright chunk of red now coating from where he stole.
This is another SB OC I made, he has two forms, his normal one (the one that is shown now) and his were-crocodile form (which I will draw later on). His name is Corbin Croc and he is about 20 years old. He usually carries a sword around with him (this kind of sword www.pinterest.nz/pin/514254851…), he also has a gun (this kind of gun www.reliks.com/replica-flintlo…) and he also uses a canon (like this one www.pinterest.nz/pin/849702654…) and a axe (like this one www.pngkey.com/detail/u2e6w7t4…). He has quite a few friends like Myra Yates, Vivian Webb, Luther Galloway, Fannie Richmond, Maude Galloway and Finnley. He has also had females have a crush on him (who he is not interested in) but Corbin does have a big crush on Dorothy instead. His normal height is about 7'5 ft tall, but his were-crocodile form is about 18 ft tall.
Backstory: Corbin was born into a family that were protectors of Showdown Valley (they were kinda like guardians but they also weren't), Corbin's great, great grandfather was the leader of the protectors and was friends to the sheriff's (in my AU) grandfather, there was such a good connection between both families and had both united against a bandit family who had wanted to take over the Valley and claim it as theirs. For many years onward, both the sheriff and protector's families had battled against the bandit family with the bandits losing and being forced out of the Valley. A few months before Corbin was born, the fights had stopped after the bandit family was tired of being beaten by the protector's and sheriff's families and went to a different Valley and overtook that instead. When Corbin was born, he grew up not knowing anything about the history of his family, but all he was taught was that he was never allowed to befriend any sort of bandit that stepped fourth into the Valley. It was after quite a few years (Corbin is about 14) where young Corbin had grown a love for pirates after looking into a book about pirates and how to sword fight, he even went so far as to dress himself like one and teach himself how to sword fight like a real pirate and ended up advancing himself from the books he read about it. Then, one day, he was wondering around on his own in the middle of town when he had spotted a dark looking shop, it caught Corbin's eye and he went to the door, there was a sigh on the door that said "ENTER IF YOU DARE!", at the age he had always looked for a challenge, this had challenged Corbin and so he went inside. As the door closed behind Corbin and he took a few steps forward, he couldn't hear the door being locked behind by a hooded figure that blended into the darkness, Corbin looked around the room...he couldn't see the objects around him but could see a desk that was just a few meters away from him. He took another few steps forward, making his way over to the desk with caution, but before he could reach the desk he felt something hit the back of his head which had quickly knocked him out cold. After a few hours, Corbin had awoke with a agonizing pain in his chest, he tried to hold his chest to feel where the pain was only to find that he wasn't able to move his arms, he looked to see that his arms were chained to the ceiling and he was stuck in a standing position. He then looked at his chest to find that his shirt and jacket was off and he had stitches on his chest near where his heart was located as the pain was becoming unbearable. Young Corbin shook as his eyes went wide, what happened to him? he didn't know..., suddenly he heard footsteps walking towards him, he looked at the figure walking toward him and all he could see was a dark hooded figure. After the figure made their approach toward Corbin, they put their hand on his face, the young puppet was scared, confused and wide-eyed as he stared that the dark figure. A few moments past as more footsteps were heard, the figure in front of Corbin had turned behind them and made a signal to the figures behind him, then the sound of a lightswitch was heard and a sudden blinding light had shun from the ceiling. Corbin didn't know who these hooded figures were...all he could see was the dark grey hooded jackets they wore, they seemed to stare right into his inner soul. Suddenly the figure in front of him backed off and went to a level on the floor just a few inches away from where he was standing, the figure grabbed a hold of it before swiftly pulling it down. Something in the roof above Corbin had opened up and he felt cold air hit his skin and felt the moon's shadow tower over him, he had no idea what was happening but he knew that many hours had past after he was knocked out. Then, without a warning a suddenly wave of pain had washed over his entire body as a loud yelp escaped Corbin, but the pain began to slowly get worse and worse as his joints and inner muscles began to burn and ache. Before he even got a chance to register the pain in his joints he felt his arms and legs stretch and grow bigger as he felt them become... scaly?! he looked back at his arms to see them become big, green and covered in scales. Suddenly he felt the same thing happen to his back, torso and neck as his body grew bigger, it was agony for poor Corbin as his body began to stretch and grow bigger. His arms soon grew too big for the chains around his arms as they snapped from how powerful his new scaly arms were, he was free from the chains but that didn't stop the agony around his body as his body began to grow scaly like his arms and legs. Then, there was a even more unbearable pain in his backside but before he could see what was causing the pain he felt something rip and something stretch out, he turned his head to see that he'd grow a very large green tail that had become very scaly along as his new tail began to sprouted spikes. Corbin had hardly even realized the tail that he had grown before he felt an excruciating pain in his head, young Corbin held his head as tears formed in his eyes...it was too much, suddenly he felt his head become scaly and his jaw become outstretched as sharp teeth replaced his normal ones. Then he felt his eyes changed (like these www.pinterest.nz/pin/375769781…) and his vision was more clear, finally...the agonizing pain in his body finally stop. He looked at the hooded figures who had seemed to back off in fear, he saw how small they were compared to him now. Corbin then looked at the open roof and suddenly climbed up it and out of the building he was in, he was so big that he could easily get off the roof and touch the ground. There was no point in him trying to get home now, not as he was now, then he remember a river nearby where he did some of his sword fighting training and no other puppets would ever step foot at night so that's were he slept. When morning finally came, young Corbin had awoken and took a good look at himself and...he was back to normal? maybe...what happened last night was a dream? but that wasn't the case however as he realized that his shirt and jacket were still missing, the stitches on his chest were still there and his pants were very much ripped. But, what had made matters worse was the minute he enter the door of his home his parents were angrily waiting just a few inches away and began to scold him only to stop as they saw that he had stitches on his chest and chain marks on his hands, they realized that he may have been in danger while they just stayed at home and thought he'd come home on his own. It was after then that Corbin wasn't allowed to be out on his own during the afternoon just in case the same thing happened to him, Corbin still snuck outside at night as to not let his parents find out about his "new form" he had. A few years had gone by (Corbin would be about 19) where he had finally moved out of home, Corbin finding a large house tucked away in the wild where he wouldn't be scene at night in the scary form he still had from when he was fourteen. Corbin did begin to socialize at lot with the townsfolks during is young adult years, females had grown attached to Corbin who they constantly flirted with him and wanted him to be their boyfriend, he hadn't grown any love interests and none of the females in the Valley caught his eye...or at least he thought. It was one day, a certain fluffy female (Dorothy) had made herself known in the Valley and as soon as Corbin saw her...his heart had skipped a beat, he felt his face heat up..., next thing he knew was that he couldn't stop thinking about her... then that's when he realized...he had a crush on the female dog-wolf.
(sorry the backstory is a bit all over the place ^^;)
He likes: Dressing up like a pirate (despite having a western accent), sword fighting, communicating with other puppets, making other puppets laugh, pulling pranks on puppets (only if they are annoying), putting annoying showoffs in their places, catching bandits, collecting abandoned jewelry or fancy stuff he finds (unless it belongs to someone then he returns it to the person it belongs to,even if it means chasing after them), making new things out of somethings he finds (like a small rusty box, tools or weapons), and painting.
He Dislikes: Bandits (that includes Showdown, Faceless, etc), the stringless (just these stringless https://showdown-bandit.fandom.com/wiki/The_Stringless) , buttons (he has Koumpounophobia), seeing his friends being hunted down (by Fowler, Vernon, Showell, etc), Fowler, Showell, Dr Nepolean, other puppets who hurt Dorothy, puppets who acted annoying or who act like showoffs, annoying puppets who try to boss him about, puppets who threaten him, and puppets who try challenge him (because he does sword fighting [it annoys him when he gets challenged, especially by someone who he finds very annoying]).
